I injured my eye and had to get to the ER with unbearable pain. I was admitted and attended by Christopher Wesselman. I got some local anesthesia, which immediately help. I was diagnosed with Corneal abrasion. I had eye injuries in the past, so I knew that the half-life of the anesthesia is very short. I got some NSAIDs, and an antibiotic balm/ointment. The effect of the anesthesia was very short, as expected. I asked to get some anesthesia that I can use at home, so I can sleep and heal. The hospital refused to provide me with anesthesia to use at home, and left me with insanely extreme pain!!! For most of my questions, the answer was "ohh don't worry, we'll give you a paper with all the answers". Obviously, the summary did NOT include the list of all the medications I told about verbally. I went home, continuing to suffer the worst pain I ever had!!! The only way for the medical team is to become a robot. They lost humanity.
