Dr. Walter provided the best surgery results ever
Four weeks ago I had my right hip replaced by Dr. Walter. I’ve never had such great results after any of my previous surgeries. I’m currently walking the dogs and driving with minimal pain. And I’ve had none of the complications that I’ve had in previous surgeries. Dr. Walter and his PA David Colliflower visited me both days that I was in the hospital to make sure that I was comfortable. Instead of sutures my wound was covered with a Pico Patch which insured that my wound would heal quickly and with little risk of infection. Thank you Dr. Walter for your excellence.

Wonderful doctor. Don't deserve all neg reviews
My 92yo MIL broke humurus late Saturday night. Off to the emergency room. X-rays were forwarded to the ortho surgeon on call that night, Dr. Walter, who looked at them and did not see the need to come in. We were a bit underwhelmed by that. The ER doctor set her arm in a splint and sent her home with instructions to see Dr. Walter in his office. We called Dr. Walter's office on Monday morning fully expecting to see him that day, but he said it would do no good to come in before a week had passed because he had to wait for the swelling to go down. Again, underwhelmed. though this made sense and was backed up by our own internet research. Then we looked up his ratings, which were not great, mostly due, it seemed, to complaints about bedside manners. So, we were a bit concerned, to say the least.Well, we could not have possibly been more wrong about him. He was warm, gentle, even tender with my MIL. We were very impressed with him and highly recommend him. Perfect bedside manners!

Superior in his Field
I found myself in the ER with and needed surgery. Obviously I did not get a choice for an orthopedic surgeon. Initially, I found Dr Walter to be all about business. I tried to make a joke, maybe it was the pain meds that allowed me to do that during a time of excruciating pain, but it did not go well with him. I now appreciate his seriousness. I can't imagine how difficult it is, even for a seasoned surgeon, at the end of a long day to have to do another emergency surgery at 5pm when you probably expected to go home to be with family. With so much that could go wrong, Dr Walter was focused and I felt, he desired to give me the best possible surgery to enable quick and efficient healing. Even though healing would take a total of 6 months, the next morning PT already had me wiggling my toes, a few other exercises and using a walker. I live out of state so a follow visit with a local surgeon also confirmed that Dr. Walter did an excellent job. I am so grateful he was in the ER that day!

Should reconsider his profession. Disingenuous at best and has a severely myopic point of view. Healthcare belongs to those who care about people. He cares about his ego and money.

Had shoulder surgery in 2014, was a little taken back at his age. I googled him and to my surprise he is more than qualified and was eager to have him operate on me, surgery went well and he is very professional. 4 years post op my shoulder is better than before and I can pitch a strike! I just wish Dr Walters could operate on my neck, I have full confidence

Dr. Walter was somewhat difficult to work with and I was very disappointed by the results of my surgery. The best advice he gave me was to seek a second opinion if I didn't like the options he presented me with.

I am quite happy with the hip replacement completed on my by Dr. Walter last October. Since I have engaged in mild skiing and hiking. Everything is much improved as compared with my mobility prior to the surgery.
