Dr. Christopher Wagener, MD

Dr. Christopher Wagener is an excellent surgeon. Operated on me 6 times; 4 lower back and 2 neck. He is professional and proficient. Thanks to Dr. Wagener I am mobile and walking without assistance. I highly recommend Dr. Wagener.

Excellent Excellent Back Surgeon!

Dr. Wagener is my hero. I had been to numerous doctors who all told me I was inoperable. I was in so much pain to the point that my toes were numb, I had pain down the side of my leg (the IT band) where it woke me up in the middle of the night in tears and I also got to the point where I had to catheterize myself at times in order to urinate. I was on 90 mg of Extended Release OxyContin a day, Oxycodone and Soma for break through pain and Ambian to sleep at night. After seeing Dr. Wagener, he ordered a CAT scan and immediately set a date for a two part surgery to fuse my lumbar. He was honest with me telling me I would still have some pain because of the severity of my problem but he could help. I still have some pain but it’s better and the days I have that pain, I listen to my body. I no longer want to die because I’m in excruciating pain ALL THE TIME. I’m no longer on those meds! Thank you Dr. Wagener for improving the quality of my life at 58 so I can enjoy my family again.??

Like most people... I was apprehensive about back Surgery. After exhausting all other options I was recommended to Dr. Wagener by a Spine Specialist, Dr. Steve Mazza. He had administered injections which did not work for me. I had 2 Consultations with Dr. Wagener the first I was still apprehensive. The 2nd.... I knew I had to do it!! It was the Best decision I made in a long time!! He relieved my Sciatica Completely so I can stand and walk without having to sit in a few minutes!!! He and his staff are so attentive and caring!! If you ever have Sciatic nerve pain I would run not walk to make an appointment with Dr. Wagener!! My recovery time was nothing like my daily pain prior to Surgery. I can do anything now and it has only been 2 and 1/2 months!! I really hope that people who suffer from daily Sciatic pain will read this review!!Surgery changed my life!!!! It will for you too!!

Without doubt, one of the most positive doctor/patient experiences I have had in my 55 years. Dr. Wagener is kind, smart, efficient and was crystal clear regarding my diagnosis and treatment options. I felt well taken care of and well informed regarding the acute issue I was being treated for. I would recommend him without hesitation. Additionally, the staff at Coordinated Health (Schoenersville Road location) were exceptional. I encountered the check-in & check-out staff who were polite and friendly. The Xray technician who was kind and reassuring. The doctor's immediate support staff who were all very helpful, knowledgeable and attentive. I am grateful this doctor and this facility are available in the Lehigh Valley.

What a wonderful surgeon!!!

I have heard many good things about Dr. Wagener. I personally did not have a good experience with him. He recommended surgery that was unnessary so i got a second opinion thank god had the 3 day recovery of the surgery he suggested had turned out to be a 1 hour out patientent surgery and i was up walking the next day. Im glad i went for the second opinion. A friend is a nurse and she told me to get a second opinion thank god for her because i had the surgery scheduled and ready to go.

If you want a precise and amazing surgeon Dr. Wagener is who you want to see! He is a phenomenal Dr. and I would absolutely recommend him to friends and family! He took me through this procedure (discectomy) that I had 3 weeks ago with ease and precision! He has Magic hands and I will forever be grateful to him for healing me and giving me my everyday life back! Thank you Dr. Wagener your hands are gold! His reassurance that I will be fine right before surgery made me feel safe!
