I would not recommend this practice to anyone. This doctor appears to work mostly with the geriatric population. If you are someone seeking care for a loved one, especially 65+, you should absolutely look elsewhere. He does not have accommodating hours. There is no one in the office on Fridays to answer phones. And the message does not indicate push a certain button to reach physician on call. Additionally, they do everything by paper. I requested a copy of my husband‘s chart to go to his new primary care physician, and they literally had to print his entire chart. It was delivered to the new place and needed to be scanned into their electronic health record. I don’t understand how a medical practice can operate in 2024 without using an electronic medical record exclusively. I am a person who likes to make sure everyone has access to quality care and if that is what you are looking for I do not recommend this practice.

Would not recommend
This practice does not have effective communication. Sometimes they call a cell phone and sometimes the call the house. They have no ability to correspond via encrypted and secure email. I would suggest looking for a larger practice that has upgraded technology and a portal system.

DO NOT GO HERE. incompetent provider
Do not go here. My husband was close to death, incredibly sick, and showed up on the wrong day. He looked awful, was yellow, including his eyes, and they let him leave! No one calls back, rotten hours, no way at all to contact office on Fridays and you will not receive quality medical attention. My stepson also is a patient. He went in for a budging disc, that he could feel, and Dr. Superczynski did not even want to exam his back. When my step son asked, don't you want to examine my back, and he replied NO! Additionally, when you do see him and share a mental health concern, he does not refer to any therapeutic services, just hands out SSRI's. If you value your health, and want a practice with normal hours, office staff that work all day and answer the phone, a portal for easy communication, do not go here.

IMO, Top Notch
Being a patient of Dr. Superczynski for over 10 years in the State of Rhode Island I had experienced nothing but great personalized service. He always took the time to listen with an open mind about any of my concerns. He thoroughly and sincerely advised me if I had any issues or health problems. I moved to the State of Texas recently and I can say based on my experiences with the doctors, they are in the minor leagues compared to him. I already miss him. Thanks for all the conversations Dr. Superczynski and I wish you all the best.

Stroke patient off blood thinners for six days sin
My sister had a stroke & was prescribed a blood thinner but her insurance wouldn’t cover it. The pharmacist said he left a message with the office stating that it wasn’t covered by her insurance and that the insurance company wanted her to try something else first. The pharmacist never notified my sister of this. It was six days before something else was called in, but it was only after I called & left a message (the office was closed) stating that this was completely unacceptable & that something else needs to be called in ASAP, as she was at risk of having another stroke. About an hour later an alternative medication was finally called in.

I have been a patient of Dr. Superczynski for several years, he is an extremely qualified physician. He is an excellent listener, and answers all of the questions asked of him in a courteous, comprehensive manner. All of his advice is medically sound and is backed by the most recent medical research. I have found to be a very compassionate man of good character. He is friendly and puts his patients at ease even when they face a poor prognosis. I would highly recommend Dr. Superczynski to anyone.

Unfortunately my experience with the practice has been a negative one. I've been a patient for 2 years and am finally switching to another doctor in East Providence. Dr Supercynski himself is a knowledgeable physician and I had at the very least previously appreciated his insight on any medical issue I was dealing with. His staff is inexcusably rude and should be ashamed of themselves. In this practice significant mistakes were made by the doctor and staff. Could never recommend to a loved one.
