So many concerning issues to describe
There are so many issues about this practice it is hard to know where to begin. I have been a patient in this practice for several years. Here is a brief summary:1. Front desk isn't rude or unfriendly, but rarely welcoming.2. Lots of staff turnover at the front desk.3. When I asked about an alternative, additional treatment for an infection, Dr. Stewart answered me in a fairly angry voice, that I should not consider any alternate treatments. He seemed to think I was questioning his treatment protocol which was far from my intention. I have never ever had a doctor behave like this. 4. Often a long waiting time.5. Staff that do the laser treatments in the past vary somewhat in how they do the laser treatments, depending on who does the treatment.6. Very poor communication with patients and front staff as to what is covered by insurance and what is not.7. Inconsistent policy regarding laser treatments insofar as whether the doctor is present or not. Ran out room to say more.

I had a three hour wait in a hot reception room. Was sold two leather attachments for $30. They were ineffective and fell apart within 6 Weeks.

Dishonest
Called to schedule a matrixectomy as a new patient. Told them exactly what I wanted. They said no problem got there. They refused to do it. Had to have an exam first and then come back so multiple co-pays wasn't explained on the phone as I scheduled the first visit so definitely dishonest and now they won't give me my copay back would never recommend

I went in because I thought my toe might be broken. It wasn't. Dr. said "something else must be going on" but offered no insight. Did offer to do surgery to straighten other toes - NOT why I was there.

They will scam you for money
Avoid this practice at all cost. I went in for an x-ray of my foot, walked out with no treatment or boot and was billed: $145 for the visit $60 for an x-ray $335 for 'a diagnosis' The office staff was extremely rude and unhelpful. Save your money and go to a respectful practice that doesn't charge miscellaneous charges for simple visits.

Late, rushed, no explanations, rude staff
After waiting in exam room nearly 50 minutes, doctor came in, did a cursory exam of my foot, left to look at my xray, which he should have reviewed before coming in, gave a quick diagnosis, said he would call in a prescription then left. When I asked the front desk if they could get me some clarification of my condition, she actually laughed out loud at me. Doctor was called to answer my question, but then changed his diagnosis and gave me instructions which conflicted with previous instructions. The diagnosis sent to my primary was a different one yet from the ones he told me. Front desk needs training, back office nurse was very nice, doctor needs to slow down, think, and listen to the patient. I will not return.

The most unprofessional staff I've ever encountered and deceptive practices by a physician Dr. Stewart. After agreeing to a price and performing an xray and found no bone spur at end of toe. Then during procedure stated there was a callous at end of toe that would prevent healing (lie). Performs procedure with additional 1/2" incision at end of toe and three stitches. ($500) Front desk staff becomes combative on next visit when asked to speak with Dr. Stewart about bill. Dr would not comple

DO NOT go to this office! Staff is completely inattentive. Dr. Stewart will tell you that you need surgery and fast. On your first visit he will charge a "New patient" fee AND a "treatment fee". He will quote you how much something will cost then say he doesn't remember. When you arrive they do not look up or open the glass window to greet you. Any calls made to the office manager go unanswered and unreturned, and her voicemail is often full. IF you do go to this office ONLY see Dr. Waltz.

Dr Stewart is all about increasing your charge. When I went to his office with a small problem, he discovered another that needed immediate attention. After paying a $400 charge, not covered by any insurance, I saw a special on social media for have that charge. When I asked about that special he denied knowing anything, said his staff must have done that & discuss with them. My next already scheduled apt I was turned over to his new associate (who is a delight). Never saw Dr Stewart again!
