Dr. Skelly saved my life 6 months ago- I was helicoptered in with near fatal stab wounds to my neck and he responded to the call that I was coming in and successfully repaired my deadly wounds. My family and I are forever grateful to him and his team at U of C. Everyone thought I was dead but by the grace of God and an amazing surgeon here I am alive and well -Thank you Dr. Skelly

Brushed off. I was referred to Dr. Skelly for a renal vein transposition due to NCS and PCS. He ignored the issues and acted like it may be MALS a condition he shows more interest in. He sent me further away from where I live to another doctor to look at a whole other issue????

Diagnosed with a rare vascular defect, I was referred to Dr. Skelly. After having been bounced around from doctor to doctor with insurmountable frustration and no progress, Dr. Skelly was the first specialist to appreciate the struggle this had become. Realizing surgery was needed, he was brutally honest about what an undertaking this would be and made sure I was aware of everything I could expect. The compassion he showed me throughout, as well as the attention in aftercare, was exceptional.
