A wasted trip and time.
My displeasure with the Dr. is mostly about the total indifference to patient's time. I have been to this office twice a year for at least the past 10-12 years and never have I spent less than 2-2:30 hours waiting. Todays visit continued a recent trend of seeing the NP instead of the Dr. While she did offer to have me see him as I was scheduled to do she said it would be "a little while". I had already spent an hour and a half beyond my appointment time so I opted not to wait. Instead I was given an incomplete lab report and tole they would try to get me the rest of the results later. I am looking for another Urologist.

The bathroom for "leaving a sample" is disgusting. Urine all over the floor and this was the same on different days, so not an isolated incident. Wait rooms are obnoxiously crowded. Major privacy violations of nurse taking symptoms and history in front of other patients, again on multiple visits so not an isolated incident. Labs took over two weeks to get results (the bill came before I got lab results!) Diagnosos was delayed by needing me to come in several times for different tests rather than doing it all at once. Had a follow up appointment where I was supposed to get answers but they had no results so I paid an office visit for them to say nothing is back yet cone back again in 2 weeks. Conflicting instructions given at each visit and serious symptoms are ignored and I was ultimately told to just live with it. Switching providers and practice for sure!!!

I have no complaints about the surgery itself. It was for RCC so I had an open partial nephrectomy. Even my scar looks amazing. However, during my hospitalization I had a blood clot break loose & block my catheter causing a medical emergency. As the IV was pumping fluid in me my bladder was becoming more & more distended. I was in extreme pain & I had a nurse at my side waiting to do what needed to be done but she couldn’t do it b/c it took 4 calls to get a response from him. Unforgivable!!

Dr. Schrepferman cared for my father for many years with his bladder cancer. He and his staff are caring, understanding and are top notch in all aspects. I would recommend him to anyone, family or friends. He and Stephanie treated us as family over the years and we thank them. Unfortunately, my father passed away recently from another illness but I wanted to make sure we thanked “Schrep” for his care!

In 2017 my step-father was diagnosed with bladder cancer. In the beginning he and our family were very satisfied with the care This physician and his office team were providing. That soon changed. As treatments and follow up appointments became the norm it became more apparent the overall mentality of this Urology practice is one of quantity and not quality. Push your patients in and out to make more money, not to actually provide care. I would not recommend this group to anyone!

I question Dr. Schrepferman’s ethics, as I discovered he discussed aspects of my personal life with outside parties (who happened to be my boss) without my consent.

We drove 4 hours to be under the care of Dr.Schrepferman and I am very thankful for the referral. Being the pregnant wife I was very nervous my husband undergoing general anesthesia but I knew he was in wonderful hands. It is very apparent he knew his craft and made us feel so comfortable along the way. Highly recommend making the drive if you are in search of a Urologist.

My husband and I went to see Dr. Scherpferman for male fertility issues. As stated, the wait time was a little longer than normal, but nothing unmanageable. Once we were in a room, Dr. Scherpferman was with us within a few minutes. I'm sure his appointment times were running a little behind because he takes time with his patients. He was very thorough, funny, and made us feel very comfortable. He explained things fully and answered every question we had. He is, quite simply, an amazing doctor.

Best urologist in Louisville, as recommended by my PCP. I would agree. First Urology is a mad house, and expect the Dr. to be behind as other reviewers have stated. Trust me its worth it though as he gives you your deserved time once seen. Performed my surgery with limited recovery and haven't felt this well in years.

I waited 90 minutes to see doctor. They told me I was next but couldn't tell me how much longer I'd wait. I left. I will look for another urologist.
