My husband & I had appointments with Dr. Ryan will not be returning. We needed specific exams done, called ahead & confirmed he could do it. When we showed up, Dr. Ryan asked us to look up what it took for a Dr. to certified in those exams. After realizing he wasn't qualified (no problem), I opted to get a physical done since I had already taken the day off of work. During my appointment, my husband (who had a physical with Dr. Ryan 2 months previously) stayed in the room. Dr. Ryan asked him how he was doing. My husband responded that he was fine, but that a mysterious pain had recently appeared in his quad. Dr. Ryan recommended a few stretches as he was continuing to perform my physical. Two weeks later, we received a $136 bill for my husband's "consult" with Dr. Ryan! He billed us for answering his own question! I called the receptionist & they said this is the behavior we should expect from Dr. Ryan & that he sees nothing wrong billing patients who weren't actually being examined.
