What was most disappointing was that one of the first statements from the doctor was"I don't have a magic pill that will make you feel better". That statement was somewhat dismissive. He seemed somewhat confusing in his approach to treatment seeing he was a rheumatologist. Having worked in health care for 47 years in many different areas, I can honestly say I could not recommend this doctor or any acute treatments.

Dr. Phillips is very friendly, personable, professional, attentive, and interested in his patients. He listens and really pays attention to what is being said. He offers treatment options and honestly explains why he does or does not recommend each particular treatment option. His new office is very nice and easy to get to.

It took 5 months for my appointment to arrive. First visit to this doctor. Spent about 10 minutes in exam room. Scheduled x-rays. Nurse called with results stating I have arthritis in hips & shoulders. I knew this going in to appointment. My problem is that I cannot walk for more than a couple of blocks without severe pain. Doc said I could do rehab or get shots. Nurse called with results. Said Doc did not schedule a follow up appointment to discuss results. Felt he was not interested

If I could get into see him, that would help! I have been waiting two weeks for the office to call. After taking with my regular doctor, I understand that it is often three weeks before you hear anything. I really am in pain and can not take any more meds safely because of heart problems. This pain is affecting my driving. Please call soon!
