Dr. Christopher Nobo, MD

I had a great encounter, experience with Dr. Nobo and his nurse practitioner Danielle. I dad to get my first colonoscopy and endoscopy at 39 due to family history and he was able to remove multiple polyps that were pre-cancerous. I went to his Riverview location and everything looked to be brand new, very clean and the front office staff was very personable as well. would highly recommend.

Initially, my interactions with Dr. Christopher Nobo were satisfactory. However, complications arose post-procedure during my care journey. After undergoing a colonoscopy, Dr. Nobo expressed frustration with my insurance provider and informed me he would no longer accept my insurance. Understanding the situation, I proposed continuing my treatment on a self-pay basis, to which there seemed to be an agreement. Regrettably, communication with his office became increasingly challenging, culminating in a complete lack of response to my attempts to contact them. When I finally managed to get through, I was informed that Dr. Nobo had left the clinic without prior notification to his patients. This abrupt departure left me without essential medical guidance during a critical time, as I recently required hospitalization due to ongoing gastroenterological issues. The lack of professional courtesy to inform or transition his patients to alternative care providers is deeply troubling. It reflects a disregard for patient welfare and professional responsibility. My experience suggests that Dr. Nobo’s commitment to patient care may not extend beyond his immediate professional obligations. I had hoped for a partnership in managing my health, but instead, I was left feeling abandoned and disillusioned. Prospective patients should be aware of these potential communication and continuity of care issues when considering Dr. Nobo for their medical needs.

Husband had a consultation to have his first colonoscopy done. Scheduled to get it done at brandon surgical center and when I called them they told me dr nobo is no longer working with them. We got no phone call the procedure was canceled. I called Dr nobos office and was advised the left the practice along side with the office manager. Fun times. I was being livid they advised me another physician was taking over his cases and that he can still get the procedure done. The following week making calls again to confirm, I called the office that was going to perform the procedure no information for my husband for a colonoscopy.

Dr Nobo is an excellent dr very polite great bed side manner listens never rushes I have be with him for 3 to 4 years and will never go anywhere else

Dr. Nobo is easy to talk to and understand. He has the best bedside manners I’ve experienced with a physician. He listens, opines, recommends, explains, and does not try to rush through the appointment.

Dr. Nobo was very informative and personable (great bedside manner). I felt very comfortable talking w/him about my issues. Office personnel were very friendly and efficient. Surgery went like clockwork and surgery center personnel were excellent in talking care of you and making you comfortable (warm blankets and all). No issues post procedures. I would highly recommend Dr. Nobo.

Dr. Nobo has such a great bedside manner. I saw him in the hospital and in his office. He listens to all your concerns and finds the best solutions. He is a thinker. He always does research to help you. He refers to other specialties, if needed and fast. He is fantastic at personally following up. I have never met a doc so enthusiastic to help. He is fantastic!
