I am putting this review in multiple places to let others know to avoid him. Dr. Nevins is a horrible doctor. Please go anywhere else. Examples - my mother went in and passed out, told him she was having trouble remembering things, and that her speech and writing felt off. He told her she needed a vacation. A vacation. She was diagnosed with a brain tumor after a she had a seizure less than a month later. He never once checked in on her. We had to get a new primary care doctor for her throughout her cancer journey. Second example - My father had a friend who went to him. He was complaining of various problems and Dr. Nevins said everything was fine. A week later, my father's friend had to have a triple bypass heart surgery. Third example - I was trying to get in better shape by over exercising and severely limiting my calories (which does not work). He told me to skip lunch and not eat strawberries because they are high in sugar. Also told me to eat a carrot.

Dr. Nevins has been our doctor since he moved to Houston and after our first doctor retired. He is now in the MDVIP program but he gave just as much attention and time before he was involved in this program. We never thought we'd find a doctor that we liked as much as our previous one but Dr. Nevins filled that bill.

Dr Nevins is conscientious, thorough and a patients doctor. He does not presume or belittle any symptom or diagnosis rather finds and treats the patient. Upmost confidence and highest recommendation. Could do a lot worse but nt sure you could do much better.
