A very satisfied patient!
Dr. Nanson is a very knowledgeable, attentive, and professional surgeon who concerns himself with the possibilities to improve an ailing knee. He listens intently, and, responds the same way to the importance of the issue at hand. He replaced one knee in the past with great success. I trust him completely as a surgeon who knows how to be considerate and respectful of his patient.

Care & competence
Dr Nanson showed both great competence and care in my visit. He took time to listen to my concerns and hopes and provided me with clear information about my particular situation. I have great faith that my further visits will also be top-notch in enjoyment and effectiveness. Such a great refresher from a field of medicine in which I haven’t always had the best experiences!

Dr. Nanson Recommendation
Dr. Nanson performed hip replacement surgery on me earlier this year. Everything about that experience was exceptional and I am happy to report that hip is performing perfectly. I am scheduled for the other hip in the fall and am confident I will have a similar outcome. His reputation is exemplary and well deserved. And his patient skills give you comfort and confidence your health issue is in highly professional and competent care. His support staff and surgical facility mirror his striving for excellence. Highest possible recommendation.

Dr. Nanson is the Ortho surgeon you want.
I’ve had 2 knees and 1 hip replaced by Dr. Nanson. He is excellent in all respects. Communicates well, addresses all concerns, explains what is going on and what to expect. And most importantly he is a superb orthopedic surgeon. Also has great support staff.

Excellent Hip Replacement Surgeon
Dr Nanson & his offce team were wonderful to work with. I had a total hip replacement surgery 4/4/23 and had plenty of support before & after the surgery. The OSI team was also great, where the surgery was performed. I highly recommend him.

Listens and Sound Advice
I am scheduled to have a partial knee replacement with Dr Nanson in a few months. He has been thorough in his evaluation and help (recommended I first try PT. Though PT was not getting me where I needed to be, I appreciated that he had me try this route first before surgery.) He has been great at listening and thorough with answering any questions I've had. I anticipate great results from the surgery!

Dr. Christopher Nanson - A Superb Surgeon
Dr. Christopher Nanson has performed 3 extremely successful knee replacements for my husband and me. Neither of us has had any complications whatsoever; and, we both have full use of those knees. In fact, I had my knee replacement in mid-May and was able to resume kneeling for gardening in plenty of time for that summer. Dr. Nanson was very approachable and readily answered any questions that we had. He has an excellent reputation with his medical colleagues and peers. My own neurosurgeons, who did extensive back and neck surgeries for me, include Dr. Nanson on their referral lists. Dr. Nanson will be replacing my husband’s hip in 5 days from this writing. We have complete faith and trust in Dr. Nanson’s skills and expertise.

Second Opinions Matter
I needed a second opinion for revision surgery that I have scheduled, and I was fortunate enough to be referred to Dr. Nanson. It was truly one of the best medical experiences I’ve ever had. It was clear that he had spoken to my surgeon, in Eugene, prior to my appointment. He took time to listen to my history, and my concerns. Dr Nanson explained every thing that I needed to know about my upcoming surgery. He answered all my questions, and took the time to be sure I was as informed as I could be If I were looking for an orthopedic surgeon in Portland I would look no further. He’s a rock start in the operating room and a wonderful and caring physician.
