Claims green chile prevents colon cancer
He walked into the room, barely acknowledged me and essentially want to refill my Rx and leave. As I was establishing care I wanted to do a physical and also get screened for colon cancer. He told me verbatim, New Mexico has the lowest cancer rate (most likely due to poor reporting and a broken health system). I said I would really like to be screened and stated I needed to supplement lots of green chile and only eat New Mexican food for the fiber. He then left abruptly and provided no follow ups or guidance on my blood panels. Literally the worst doctor I’ve ever met.

Horrible! Didn't listen, reached a premature conclusion that was utterly incoherent and inconsistent with what I was telling him. Gaslit me, to boot. Seemed very ill informed about my condition but would not admit that. Seemed put out that I didn't accept his clearly inaccurate and uninformed opinion. Wrote things in notes that were not true or even discussed. I do not recommend this doctor. Just really a bad experience.

Bad experience with Dr Miera
He did not listen to me, at all. He twisted up my issue into a story that worked for him, but that had no relevance to why I was there. He was incurious, stubborn, and uncaring. He made up a ridiculous explanation for my symptoms that had no bearing on what I was telling him. I felt extremely gaslighted by him and disrespected. Also, he put items in the visit notes that were completely wrong, and some that were not even discussed. Pointless visit and waste of a copay. Avoid this doctor.

Good family doctor
I'm 62 and have been going to Dr Miera for years. He listens to what is going on with me and helps lay out a plan to address any new issues. I plan to continue to see Dr Miera until he retires.

Worst ever, possibly dangerous. Put things in my record we never discussed. Refused to adjust my high blood pressure medication that was causing my feet to swell - he glanced at my feet with shoes on from across the room and said my feet were not swollen. Slovenly personal appearance.

Dr. Miera was a default doctor assigned to me when my regular doctor retired. His manner of speaking in a whisper was very difficult and he responded in frustration when asked to repeat anything. Was not interested in overall reason for my visit, did not do an exam, and refilled my regular medications with reservations. His answer to all medical question was to recommend Cannabis as a cure all. He stated they didn't know how Cannabis worked but I should buy some. Not professional in my opinion.

I saw Dr. Kiera because my regular Doctor was booked out for 10 days. Dr. Miera was rude arrogant and spent very little time with me. I told him of chronic disease and medications. He made a rude comment about my disease and ignored any of my comments. He listened to my chest for 5 seconds and told me I had pneumonia and prescribed an antibotic that is not to be used with my disease. Long story he Re diagnosed and said it was collapsed lung. Turned out to be the flu. will not see him again.

Unprofessional attire - came in a t-shirt with stomach hanging out. No compassion - he did not listen to a word I said and had no interest in me as a patient. Extremely arrogant - did not like it all if you disagreed with him. Unprepared - did not read my chart before this first and last visit and made assumptions. Unprofessional behavior - told me he has a right not to be my doctor and left me hanging in the room. Nobody helped me at the clinic. It was humiliating. No patient deserves this.

Went to him to establish care. He did absolutely nothing. Did not do an exam or order any tests. Worst Dr I have ever been to. Strongly advise you avoid this Dr.

I have just started using Dr Miera. He has been very thorough and helpful. I am a 47 year old male and have had some health struggles. Dr Miera made sure that all the bases were covered and pointed me in the right direction to get me back on track with my health. He has been very empathetic to me and my needs. I have found him and his staff very accommodating and friendly. Thank you, Rob Faber

If I could give this doctor and his office a 0 star I would. The only friendly people were the receptionists. Dr. Miera wouldn't listen to anything as far as my husbands pain, and he still has not called for the X-Ray results, even though we have the X-ray imaging in our possession, which should not have been surprising because we have had nothing but issues with Lovelace. We will not be seeing this doctor anymore. They were all really rude and very unconcerned about anything we had to say. If y

Hands down the worst doctor I've ever seen. Tried multiple times to schedule a follow-up with him after visiting the ER, he would not call back. When I was finally able to get an appointment with him months later, he failed to review my prior records with him or my ER records, barely conducted a physical exam, brushed off my questions, and was incredibly rude and sarcastic throughout the visit. He should truly lose his medical license, someone is going to die because of his negligence.

Dr. Miera is awful. He is rude and doesn't care about his patients. Didn't seem to care what concerns I had and like my health concerns were trivial and I was wasting his time . He was very sarcastic and unprofessional. Doesn't bother to bring in the computer to have your records right in front of him so he can look up something in your records if needed. Like someone else said, it's like he is just sitting there waiting to retire. I wouldn't recommend this so called Dr. to anyone.

Dr. Miera is awful. Don't ever choose him as your Doctor. He only spends 2 minutes with you and doesn't seem like he is there to help at all. You could be on the verge of killing yourself and he wouldn't notice because he's in a rush to get you out. He must be counting down the days to retirement.
