Dr. Christopher Megargel, MD

I have Functional Neurological Disorder which includes non-epileptic seizures. Was admitted to ER in June by my primary for having multiple seizures. During my ER visit, I was seen by Dr Megargel. My spO2 was 78% at times. I also have restrictive respiratory failure and COPD. My pulmonologist has me on supplemental oxygen when needed. Yet, he never order oxygen for me. Additionally, when my husband left to get the car and the nurse brought the wheelchair for my discharge, I felt dizzy when I got up and had another seizure. That's when Dr. Megargel came back in and start to scream at me saying among other things that I was wasting his time and he had real sick people to attend to. If he had read any of the documentation he gave me, he would know that this is an illness and none of it is under my control. I have never had this experience from a medical professional before and it is totally unjustified. I hope he reads this!!

we had to go to the freestanding your in the villages by Pinellas Plaza last evening from my husband. The ER doctor, which was Dr Mcgargel was amazing. Great bedside manner and knew his stuff. I would rate him an excellent physician.
