Forgot major details of my history, appears organized and caring but ended up setting me back. When he texts he gets details messed up, when you need extra time on the phone he charges for it Frustrating not being listened to. Moved on to someone better

I wish I could leave no stars but oh well. Dr Lord knew when he took me on that I had addition medical problems like migraines and hypothyroid. He seemed so smart and supportive. Fast forward a year later and due to physical inabilities including Covid and autoimmune deficiency he told my husband that he didn’t believe these symptoms were real. My husband, not me. He claimed that my brilliant therapist that he works with was on the same page. He lied. She wasn’t If he actually listened and took the time when I called/texted him and not *charged me that would’ve been peachy Don’t be fooled by his pleasant bedside manner. He was happy to charge me extra when I needed extra help, he forgot huge chunks of conversations that were critical to my emotional well-being and said threatened to fire me for non-compliance Nothing like a professional that you leave feeling worse about yourself when you came in.

Genuinely Caring and Compassionate
Dr. Lord is the kindest doctor I’ve ever known. He is so accessible, he even answers his phone when you call! He’s smart about medications, tests for your blood levels to be sure it’s therapeutic, and not too high. He takes physical health into account with emotional issues. He protects my 35-year sobriety with appropriate meds and interest in my sleep, nutrition and emotional well-being. He is truly a holistic doctor. In my experience, he’s a 10 on a scale of 1 to 10.

Dr Lord refused to continue to see me as a patient solely because I had Medicare, even though I wasn’t filing for Medicare to pay for those visits, and was self pay. I had signed a form saying that I wouldn’t file for Medicare, but he lost it. He did not give me an opportunity to sign it again and said he could no longer see me. It was a problem for him because he doesn’t accept Medicare and this form has to be signed. I was devastated as I had been seeing him for at least a year at great expense and felt I was making progress.
