Dr. Christopher Lombardo, MD

I met Dr Lombardo today regarding my ear pain and I have to say he is one of the best Dr’s I’ve ever seen. Very nice, great bedside manner and answered all my questions! Very happy with him and his staff!

First time met with Dr. Lombardo, I wasn’t so impressed. He physically checked my conditions and asked a few questions that were not totally related to the symptoms I pointed out to him before my first visit. He didn't ask me how often I had heartburns, he assumed that I had GERD which was unacceptable. I only had 1-3 heartburns a month, why GERD? Maybe to pump up the insurance bill to get more profit for the company? Before I left, he handed me a small piece of paper saying that this is for my next appointment. He whispered to his nurse, telling her something about putting a little note for my PCP. After seeing my PCP's notes, I was surprised to learn that he wanted my PCP to refer me to an allergist & he wanted to do a procedure in my next appointment; these were never discussed with me. I would like to trust this doctor, but I can't. My impression after the first visit was full of surprises. I wouldn't like to trust someone, especially an MD who is full of hidden agenda.

Dr. Lombardo and his team treat me exceptionally. He’s been attentive, proactive and careful. I sought treatment for a chronic infection for 2 years. 2 ENT’s and many PCP’s weren’t competent to help. I’d be partially treated or not treated at all and some didn’t even think I had an infection. I was terrified it was gonna be forever. I nearly lost my will and had many ER trips. Dr. Lombardo got me scheduled for surgery as soon as possible. Being treated by him allowed me to finally begin to improve my condition. To have a doctor I believe in, who believes me, who doesn’t resent me for needing medical care or not being simple... its exactly how it should be. I hope other DR’s are paying attention and look to him for example. His thorough consideration of my medical history stands out to me dramatically, because I usually have to fight for that. I have a complex history, I don’t typically have a simple treatment course and he’s never ignored my concerns or left questions unanswered.

Did not listen well... horrible bedside manner. Seemed arrogant, judgmental, and opinionated. Did not trust his opinion due to that... will get 2nd opinion. Did not really take the time to look at my current fairly complex diagnosis of medical conditions and challenges of having procedures.

I was very impressed after my first appointment with him. He spent a lot of time with me and gave me options to consider. I have had cold asthma for 8 years and been to specialists all over the state with no real help. One pulmonologist did not even catch the fact I had pneumonia and if I had not changed doctors I may have suffered even longer! Five stars to Dr. Lombardo - I would recommend him in a minute.
