Dr.Kurz and staff did cataract surgery on my eyes in 2020. I am still able to see clearly without glasses. I was very satisfied in the initial visit, the surgery which Dr. Kurz explained from start to finish and post OP. The appointment a year after surgery made me feel comfortable about the success of the cataract removal. Thanks to Dr.Kurz and a caring staff.

Dr. Kurz has been my eye doctor since my diabetes diagnosis. I look forward to his appointments because he is honest and does NOT try to sell me glasses, eye drops etc that I don’t need. I feel quite secure that he has my glaucoma/s under control and no changes in my retinopathy makes me excited for my next visit

We were referred to Dr Kurz for a difficult cataract surgery in 2018. He did a great job and saved my brother’s eye sight. He explained everything very well and was very patient with our situation. Staff was very kind and supportive.

Every time I go to the office the staff remembers me and ask about my health and family. Every question I have is answered to the fullest. The doctor always asks me if I have an issues or problems and asks about my general health.

Incompetent and rude staff . I was given a price for a procedure that was incorrect and asked that the amount I was quoted be honored. They verified I had been given an incorrect amount but refused to honor it until I asked to speak to the Dr. The technician with an Easter European accent then escorted me to the checkout desk and said “ You May have gotten a reduced price but it’s not free. Here’s where you pay “. I do not recommend this medical practice.

Dr. Kurz is one of the friendliest doctors around!! He genuinely cares about each patient and their individual needs. He is polite and professional and a fantastic surgeon. Both he and Dr Garrett are both well oiled machines in the surgery center. Dr. Kurz is usually faster to get scheduled with in clinic than Dr. Garrett. He listens to every concern you have and will do everything he can to help you reach your best vision.

I had an absolutely awful experience with my cataract surgery performed by Dr. Kurz. The surgery itself was long and tedious. To say I was miserable afterwards would be an understatement. I have since gone to a different doctor who explained to me that the lens had not been inserted successfully and thus I suffer from permanent "floaters" in that eye. Dr. Kurz never explained this to me. My advice if you're having cataract surgery---don't go to this doctor.
