If I could give no stars that’d be my review. I’m disappointed and enraged with anger about the man. His bedside manor is horrendous and the way he treats his staff is disgusting.

He wasted my time and my money. While I was still able to work and had insurance, promising me we'd go on to surgery. I was struggling to keep a job... So much pain. Then finally after 2 years and when I was on my last leg he just gave up. He tells me a story about dropping a computer tower on his finger and from that then declares he is very intimate with PAIN! When telling him how I fell down straits he got angry saying that wouldn't break 3 vertebra! Why would I make that up? They are broke, along with facet joints, which is where the actual pain is, but they are broke just the same. 8 years of number 11 pain! 24/7 365! Now Ive lost everything, and I mean everything. I'm homeless without a dime to my name. 10 years ago I was making $120k with insurance. Dr Kain might as well have pushed me down the stairs.

Dr. Kain is very arrogant and accusatory. After a lengthy back XILF, he said I should have no pain and other undesirable side effects. I went to numerous physical therapy appointments that did not help. I've had 4 doctors tell me that he didn't help me and that nothing could be done to relieve the pain and other side effects. I had several infections that were each difficult to treat. I would not suggest Dr. Kain for your treatment. I would say, run quickly towards Wichita or KC.

I had lower back surgery done by Dr. Kain in June 2012. Prior to my surgery I had discussed my back situation with two surgeons prior to meeting Dr.Kain. Unlike the first two surgeons Dr.Kain was personable, caring and gave me the immediate confidence I needed to hear. I scheduled my surgery on the spot. I always considered my surgery very successful, allowing my quality of life continue on through my retied years. I would totally recommend, [and have], Dr. Kain to anyone including family
