Love Dr Jermak
I went to see him years ago, referred because of chronic uveitis and macular edema. He worked with me to get my flares to calm down, and has been keeping watch over my macular edema to make sure it doesn't get worse. Proper action will be needed. He's very thorough and explains everything. I recommend him!

My experience with Dr Jermark Was traumatic I went to him based on a referral from Dr Atwals office. The vision in my eye was getting progressively worse with no clear explanation as to why. He was asked to examine me to rule out retinal ichesmia. Said my eye looked great, did not need to perform any further tests. He displayed no empathy, spoke like a machine. Mentioned that I needed to see a neurologist, but would not refer me. (The pt setting up his/her own referral could take a month to get in.) I needed a Doctors office to do this to get in more quickly My eye prior to this visit was 20/50 but very quickly had gone to 20/100 the day before and was now 20/200. At the end of the visit he stated “Now you are legally blind” Dr Jermark was disinterested in me as a human being and could have cared less that I was very rapidly losing vision in my Rt eye. I am an RN with a Masters Degree and felt like he couldn’t give me the time of day. I am rating him a zero out of 5

I wa assured my vision would improve by two lines on the eye chart. Now I’m virtually blind in one eye. Vision never returned and now have no hope of improvement. Would not recommend Would recommend you at least get 2nd opinion. I wish I did.

Dissatisfied patient – Aug 13, 2018

I first met Dr. Jermak in September of 2017. I had a detached retina and saw him as an emergency patient. He waited after hours to meet with me and calmly explained my options. When I selected one he preformed the procedure immediately. During the follow up appointments I never had to wait more than 10 minutes before a staff member saw me to perform a preliminary eye examination. Once my preliminary exam was completed I always saw Dr. Jermak in short order. .

I can't say enough about Dr Jermak. He is very intelligent and has a soft-spoken confidence in what he does, making his explanations easy to understand. Dr Jermak believes that your time is as important as his. In 4 appts & 2 surgeries I never waited more than 20 min. At the surgery center my husband was very impressed because Dr Jermak was the one Dr who spoke to the family member in person instead of the house phone. I would recommend Dr Jermak to anyone who asks.

Very pleasant doctor. Explains or shows you just what is happening to cause your eye problem; and what he can do to fix the problem. Been going to Dr. Jermak for over 7 years. You don't have to wait long to see the doctor when you go for your appointment. S.D.
