Billing department screwed up the Medicare claim.
Surgery didn’t turn out all that great either. But the real issue here is that their billing department screwed up our Medicare claim (details coming soon), did not appeal properly, then came to us for payment, ultimately threatening collection to damage our credit rating. We have 2 determinations from Medicare saying we should have never paid anything. NOW THEY WONT REFUND ALMOST 2000 DOLLARS. WE’RE RETIRED!!

Dr. Hussussian is probably one of the best plastic surgeons in this time zone. He has done two difficult procedures on my elderly father in the last year. Both involved major reconstruction of his face and scalp due to several carcinomas. I can't say enough positive things about him. I would highly recommend him.

Poor communication Tried 3x to get more info and all I ever got was "I am not worried about that"! Doesn't read patients well. When asked about results his response was " I have never had to go back" (to revise)! Egos are good sometimes and he may be a good surgeon but...... doesn't listen, empathize, explain. Day of surgery my medical history not available- 2 filled out& a phone history as well. Woke up in pain- Had IV why no pain meds Partner was condescending, kissed me on my head! Really!

Dr. Hussussian was amazing! He made me feel comfortable, at ease, made a scary process seem not so scary and was there every step of the way. He helped me to understand everything about my procedure for breast reconstruction, how I would look, explained things in detail (in words that I could understand), and really helped to make me feel comfortable. I also had a paniculectomy at the same time, so it was a lot to handle. He was great at easing me through the process. I'd trust him with my life.

Dr Hussussian was a very caring, expert physician and surgeon. My surgeries came out with excellent results for a mascectomy and reconstruction. His staff are top notch. Especially Jane, who schedules each procedure and clears the way with insurance coverage. Corey and Alli were also wonderful to deal with, taking care of every detail. I was in excellent hands with Dr Hussussian and would highly recommend him.
