Dr. Christopher Disimone, MD

Dr. DeSimone is thorough, explains everything extremely well, and He’s very compassionate. I felt safe and well cared for working with him.

We have been with Dr. DiSimone since he was practicing in Tucson, and followed up with him when he moved to Scottsdale to help out AZ Oncology when they needed staff physicians in the Phoenix area. They suddenly closed up the Phoenix offices and Dr. DiSimone moved, we tried a few doctors in the Tucson offices and they were awful, the worst. Would not recommend AZ Oncology, we will try the University now. They lost a great physician, we miss him dearly, since he was so attentive and caring. He would explain everything and follow up with us, we just loved him. I don’t think he moved to California (as previous reviewer stated), but he would be a great teacher for those young physicians at a University setting!

Dr Di Simone was my oncologist for nearly a year before AZ Oncology closed it's doors. I enjoyed him very much, I loved the office, and I want to find him again. He made eye contact with me and spoke to me like a person and not like a number. He would check on me while I was having my chemo infusions, no other Dr has done that for me. The nurse from AZ Oncology called me, told me they were closing, and to find a new doc. It's been hard to find a new one that is like Dr Di Simone. He's one of a kind. If anyone knows where he is, please let me know.

Dr. DiSimone has been the best doctor I have seen for my care. He spends as much time with me as I need to make me feel comfortable about what we will do next in our treatment plan. When I say this, don’t take me lightly, he has been the best doctor I have seen and I consulted many in the area. No one has been as knowledgeable in this field as Dr. DiSimone! I will miss him greatly and have been even considering going to CA to have him follow my care since he is moving. AZ Oncology is losing a gem of a physician, they probably did not deserve this guy. My office visits when dealing with the office managers have not been great. I would not recommend AZ oncology anymore, they have lost many good doctors, and have been closing down multiple locations in AZ due to the business people, not the doctors. This has been hard when you are sick and losing a great physician. AZ Oncology does not care about the patients only money and this has been hard on us as patients to lose our great doctors.

Dr. Disimone made me feel comfortable as soon as I met him. I was wanting to move forward as quickly as possible, and he began doing that. When a biopsy revealed a different diagnosis he immediately shifted and sent me on a new appropriate course. He was very encouraging.

He has replaced Dr Ondreyco for me. I was a little nervous about this change. Dr. Ondreyco saved my life, so he had some big shoes to fill. I was pleasantly surprised. He put my concerns at ease.

Took time to listen. Asked good question. I felt heard

Provided my update need for the future. Some tests no longer required because it’s been 10 years.

Had a 6 month follow up visit with Dr. Disimone. This was my first time seeing him. He was very professional and thorough when explaining my results. He answered my questions with responses I could understand. He has a personal touch and I feel comfortable with him.

Honest & straight forward with what to expect

Dr. Di Simone is a wonderful doctor. Shows concern for the patient. Very knowledgeable and explains everything. Wants to know everything about the patients health history!

The appointment with Dr Disimone went well. He explained to me about C L L and what it means etc. I felt comfortable talking with him. The reception area is very welcoming and I didn't have to wait too long.

Dr Di Simone explains everything very thoroughly and is very patient. His nurse Rosa is the best nurse.

I am sorry to leave this poor review. Dr. DiSimone is a fine doctor. If you can actually get anybody to answer his phones to get an appt. He needs a new staff. They do NOT return phone calls. Voice mail messages galore! They NEVER call back. And I’ve left messages for the supposed manager, Amber. The only responsive person is Melva. So stressful trying to schedule diagnostics and follow up. They do not call back! And I am not the patient. I am the daughter of a 90 year old patient (my mom) and I am in tears trying to get a call back. This is ridiculous. Answer your damn phones or Please call me back!

Awesome. He spends time with you so that you don't feel rushed. Very practical. Very caring. Very knowledgeable. I feel I am in good hands.
