Great surgeon
I remember after my surgery while in hospital from 2 nights Dr. Conner came to see me & to see how I was progressing after extensive back surgery.

Patient with advanced degenerative dics disease
Recheck after cervical disc replacement may 2024. No further pain. Also re-evaluaation of progression of my degenerative disc condition in lumbar area due to worsening pain. Total spine x-rays taken and explained. Due to my heart condition Dr. Conner consulted with an orthopedic spine surgeon and both determined that my condition would likely not tolerate the extensive corrective surgery that I would require. Advice to follow up with a pain specialist was given and review of current pain therapies currently used. Follow up in 6 months on phone due to distance I have to travel.

GREAT team
Dr Conner and his team were very professional, kind and caring. Dr Conner always took the time to discuss my procedure and answer any questions that I had. If I had any other questions, I would just call Madgilina and she always had or would find out the answer. I would highly recommend ( and I did) Dr Conner for any neurological problems.

Deep Brain Stimulation Surgery
If you are looking for a young, talented neurosurgeon who is extremely skilled in DBS surgery using the latest technology, Dr. Conner is your person! From our first meeting to post surgery, Dr. Conner was personable, detailed in explaining both the surgery and answering our numerous questions, extremely caring, and most importantly, extremely competent. He has the passion and the skills for the delicate precision required for brain surgery. He truly wanted to help my husband’s Parkinson’s symptoms. The surgery was complicated due to other health issues. However, Dr Conner was in regular communication with our other doctors, ensuring a safe outcome. There has been significant improvement in my husband’s symptoms since his device was ‘turned on’ just 3 weeks ago. We look forward to continued results as further adjustments are made. Thank you Dr. Conner! We highly recommend Dr. Conner, his excellent team, and the John Dempsey Hospital.

Gifted Young DBS Surgeon
Here is the deal! Ten weeks after DBS surgery and two adjustments to my neurostimulator, my Sinemet intake has been reduced nearly 50%. My “on time” has improved significantly. My rigidity, stamina, anxiety and ability to concentrate have all improved. I have no dyskinesia, memory issues, speech issues or personality changes. I plan to be back on the golf course in April and hopefully be sending postcards from Europe this summer! Dr. Conner has given me my life back! Thank you Dr. Conner! Thank you to your excellent team, as well!

Dr. Conner Review
This was my first time meeting with Dr. Conner. It was concerning a pinched nerve in my L3 L4 lower back. The MRI clearly showed a pinched nerve and Dr Conner recommended a Laminectomy. He put me at ease immediately about my concern about the surgery (I am 69 years old) and told me the procedure was going to go smoothly. We agreed on a date October 7 2024. The procedure went very well and was successful and in my 2 week follow up I thanked Dr. Conner for helping me regain my feelings in my lower back and legs. In the weeks that have followed I have no issues because of the surgery and look forward to getting back to work. I would highly recommend Dr. Conner for this particular procedure.
