Avoid at All Costs
Dr. Ciccarelli was in my appointment for less than 5 minutes. He refused to even listen to me when I tried to express my concerns about side effects I was experiencing from a medication that he proscribed to me. He insisted that since he had had a bunch of complaints he was only going to address one kind of issue per appointment not 'acute' or 'new' problems. He told me I would have to schedule another appointment (and spend more money) if I wanted him to address my concerns. When you confront him with the nonsense he becomes very belligerent and unprofessional. I would never recommend anyone consider him to be there physician.

He acts like it is the patients fault for having multiple health issues. He says rude condescending things that have nothing to do with why you came in. Example of this is why are you here if you are not aspirating up food this morning and acts like everything to do with throwing up is covid or the flu. I came in because of really bad overnight acid reflex to the point I woke up unable to breath as I was choking on undigested food and he acted like it was no big deal. I literally could have died from that I was turning blue my mom had to do the hymlick removal on me. He literally only put me back on a medicine that one of my old gastro doctors had me on that says it is only supposed to be used for a short amount of time as it can cause bone loss. He also states that he refuses to be the one that writes prescriptions for medicines that you need until you go back and see a specialist. He is a lazy doctor and seems like he just wants to get paid to do nothing. He should be the one contacting specialists so they will contact his patients because none of the referrals for doctors will contact you and when you contact them they give you a date that is so far out into the future. Also good luck getting a first time appointment with this doctor it will take you over half the year of having your insurance to even get in to see him and it will cause tons of issues of you have serious health issues you will end up in the hospital and forced to see your old primary who you didn't want to go to because they are more expensive because your insurance doesn't cover that doctor in case your wondering this happened to me. It is still causing me issues due to my epilepsy couldn't get into see a decent doctor to treat my epilepsy. Save yourself time and money look for a better pcp that cares about you not just your money.

He saved me from going septic and from infection spreading to my new knee replacements. I was very surprised to see these low ratings. I, personally, cannot thank him enough for taking immediate action on a Saturday and I was not even his patient. I really could not be happier and most docs would say, “Meh, go to the ER.” They would get involved but with my other medical conditions this could have been a death sentence bc they wouldn’t have access to my records while he did bc my primary is part of OH group. I am SO sick of being sick and anyone that can turn that around I am SO grateful for! May God bless you 10-fold doc.

Not a good doctor
Dr. never attends to the problem of the patients. He says he is on a schedule and can't read results of lab work, so we need to make another appointment.

My experience with Dr Ciccarelli was terrible. He dictates and doesn’t listen when you try to talk to him. He cuts you off mid-sentence. He dictates what he prescribes for you without allowing patient’s input. I agree his bedside manner is awful. He assumes what’s wrong without listening to patient. I felt disrespected. I am looking for another doctor.

I have rarely done a review on a doctor before, but I felt the need to make it known how much I disliked my experience with Dr. Ciccarelli. I had to go in for a visit to have my medication refills re-authorized, and one of my medications (Bupropion) was prescribed a specific, albeit unorthodox, way by a psychiatrist several years back. Even though the specific medication regiment has worked very well for me for years, Dr. Ciccarelli refused to re-prescribe the medication the same way (I was simply taking a dose once a day when it is typically taken twice per day). I felt very uneasy by the fact that I was not given a choice in my mental health decisions. I had no choice but to change my medication regiment, which led to instability with my mental health, which is what often occurs when anti-depressant dosages are modified, and in this case, unnecessarily. So, beware that if you see this doctor, he might not give you much choice in your own health. I do not recommend this doctor.
