I went to the ER for a spider bite and symptoms that included vertigo and passing out. He stated a couple of times that he’s looking for mangled people that needed to be admitted. I asked specifically if I needed anything for the bite and he said no and that my symptoms weren’t related to the bite. Hmm, I have never had any of the weird symptoms in my life until I was bit. I had told him that, yet he insisted they weren’t related and that I just needed to head out and see my PCP. Luckily I had an appointment with mu PCP a few hours later and they started me on strong antibiotics right away and were astounded that dr Bass didn’t start me on them and just shook their head when I told them he insisted that my symptoms weren’t related. Like the title says, avoid Dr Bass at all costs. $300 to be told to go see my normal dr.

sold private, embarrassing medical info to a collection agency that then bullied and made fun of me for having debt when i argued that i had already paid it.

Dr Bass was excellent with information and prognosis. Potential diagnosis prior to test results were spot on which meant I could start Rx before results. Thank you Dr Bass.

Dr. Christopher Bass in ER has terrible bedside manner. He rushed into my room hurriedly telling me nothing was wrong and telling me that the urgent care PA who sent me to the ER was basically only covering her rear and that my “severely and unusually” elevated BP was not something to have been worried about. Unbelievable. He instead should’ve patiently told me that my tests were negative but that I did the right thing by coming in to be sure nothing there was nothing seriously wrong. Instead I was made to feel embarrassed. Some maturity on a young overly-confident (to put it mildly ) doctor with some retraining in empathy and people skills would help this young doctor help hurting people who have to visit an ER, in this case, Integris. In contrast, the nursing staff was excellent!
