Dr. Alcala has my deepest respect. His God-given talents, knowledge and experience are superior. He takes the time to thoroughly explain his findings, his surgery plan and his goals and expectations for a successful outcome. After my 7-hour surgery, he compassionately explained to my wife all that was done. I was blessed with the best neurosurgeon ever!

Dr. Alcala performed my cervical surgery. He explains everything thoroughly and he takes time with you, to make sure you understand everything. When I was having my surgery, every person from the nurses to the anesthesia staff, etc, all had great things to say about Dr. Alcala and told me that he takes his time and he’s a great surgeon. I completely agree and I have had great success with my surgery!

Dr Alcala was very pleasant and spent time with me answering questions and letting me know his suggestions for a plan moving forward. I made it clear that I was not interested in back surgery and he completely understood and discussed non surgical options pending completion of an MRI.

I recently had a ACDF with Dr. Alcala as my surgeon. He is the best surgeon I've ever had. He's not only skilled at what he does, he is kind, prompt, and explains the procedures, etc, and is attentive to concerns. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Alcala to anyone needing spine care!

Dr Alcala. Without a doubt is the best Dr I have ever experienced. He cares and from the first time you meet him you will know what I’m talking about. Your not just another patient. His office staff are incredible, you never have wait, like other clinics. He has diagnosed my issue when others would not listen and gave me my life back! He is a wonderful Doctor and more importantly human!

Dr. Alcala was incredibly helpful in his diagnosis and his explanation of the "why" and "how" of my condition. Previous doctors often failed to provide detailed information and on occasion, wouldn't get frustrated when clarification and details were requested. Was not the case here! Dr Alcala walked me through my MRIs amd Xrays on large screens and provided a lot of education about what was happening with my spine. That was helpful in setting expectations and creating a treatment plan. You're in great hands with him!

Very happy with the care I got from Dr. Alcala and his staff during my spine surgery. The pre-surgery information, getting me prepared for surgery itself was outstanding.
