I am a 75 year old male and have struggled with AFIB for over 20 years. I met with Dr Tanaka to review my history and consult on treatment options. She was very attentive to my concerns and very thorough when she explained my options. I was very impressed with her compassion and understanding. I feel confident that I am in good hands with her treating me.

Confusing
These reviews say she is either great or horrible! These reviews need better responses from this Dr as well as her staff so anyone who needs help based on reviews gets the correct information ! I am a 63 year old man with hypertensive heart disease and was recently diagnosed with AFib. I wanted to know what my options were in treating AFib, including ablation, so I was referred to Dr. Tanaka-Esposito by my physician. I presented Dr T. with many questions and inquiries. I found Dr. T. to be very personable, professional and patient with all of my questions and concerns. She showed empathy and thoughtfulness in providing non-surgical treatment plans. Overall, I was very satisfied with my visit with Dr. T. and have no reservations about Dr. T performing surgery on me.

Dr.Tanaka as the last review correctly said does not accept responsibilty for her poor judgement.She recommended her associate do my heart catherization.The results were disastrous as permanent damage and pain resulted which will last a lifetime rival healthcare specialists verified.Dr.Tanaka washed her hands of me when she learned of the complication which were her fault by recommending her partner do my catherization.Thanks for nothing Dr.Christine Tanaka Esposito.

I would never ever recommend her. Caused more damage to my family members heart and took no responsibility for it. Poor practitioner

My experience with Dr Tanaka was excellent. She placed my dads pacemaker at Fairview hospital. I completely trusted her with my dad. Her bedside manner with him was so unbelievably personal. She communicated not only with my father but with me so I understood clearly where my fathers heart health was and what he needed and how she could help him. She listened to my concerns and did her absolute best to address them. After a successful procedure my father had other heart health issues that were not Dr Tanaka’s specialty and I reached out to her and she responded quickly and explained what was happening and assured me that the cardiologist he was under was exceptional for my dads needs. Dr Tanaka went above and beyond my expectations. I will forever be grateful for the care she gave my dad.

This is an update to my last review.Sadly I had to end my physician patient relationship with Dr.Tanaka.This was due to the unprofessionalism of her and staff at my last visit a week ago.She and her P.A. ganged up on me and basically scolded me as a five year old over my honest opinion on MyChart of her staff.I thus walked out of that appointment.Then after I messaged Dr.Tanaka later of my continued shortness of breathe and arrythmia flare up her staff blew me off with no reply.My pcp insisted I sent that message as I did not want too.My two former neighbors had similar issues with her staff that they run the show and not Dr.Christine Tanaka Esposito.I want nothing more to do with Dr.Tanaka or her rude staff.Dr.Tanaka is no longer my cardiologist.Dr.Tanaka is also no longer my friend.I would not recommend her at this time.Seek another cardiologist with a more professional staff.Thank you-"Robbie" Austin.
