Dr. Christine Ruehl, MD

WORST DOCTOR EVER: I've had my first appointment with Dr. Ruehl and unfortunately, my experience at this appointment was traumatic. My previous physician, Dr. Strozier, had left, and I kept this appointment because I needed a refill on my medication. Dr. Ruehl seemed like she cared, but then she pressured me into doing an exam even though I was uncomfortable and obviously unwell. This experience has really affected me and I feel that she really needs some training in working with survivors of trauma. Given her line of work, I would think that she would be more understanding and know how to properly handle those situations. Instead of doing what was best for me, she was more interested in doing what convenient for her and violated the "do no harm" ethic that physicians are supposed to have. All of this happened back in June and I have been very unwell since then. I hope that she is proud of the "care" she gave. This patient will not be returning.

Dr Ruehl, I have no words that would be enough to say thank you for Sep 20, 2020 when you received me through the ER from Martin Army I will never forget what you said to me and how you took care of me. God Bless You.

I absolutely love this doctor! Unfortunately I had to make a decision to change gynecologists today. She is so hard to get an appointment with and the staff cancels your appointment and does not notify you. This has happened to me twice. Great doctor, awful office.

My husband and I truly had the best experience with Dr. Ruehl! It's not often that you find a doctor and staff who treat you like family. She and her nurses/staff did just that from the very first appointment! Highly recommend!

She is so professional. So sweet. She is also nonjudgmental. I would recommend her to the fifth power! Love her.

OMG!!1 WHERE DO I START I ABSOULTLY LOVE DR RUEHL ITS VERY STRANGER HOW SHE BECOME MY OBGYN BECAUSE I WAS ORIGANLLY ONE OF HER CO EDS PATIENTS AN ONCE I MEET HER DUE TO MY SON BEING BORN WAY BEFORE I TIME NOT TO MENTION DURING THAT TIME SHE WAS VERY REASSURING HAD THE BEST BEDSIDE MANNERS YOU COULD EVER IMAGINE I KNEW THEN THAT SHE WAS THE DOCTOR FOR ME AFTER MY SONS DELIVERY SHE STOP BY THE LOCAL NICU TO CHECK ON MY SON AN SHE ALWAYS ASKS ABOUT HIM WHEN EVER I VISIT HER OFFICE SHE IS JUST HANDS DOWN THE BEST AN I RECOMMEND HER TO EVERYONE SHE IS TRULY THE BEST!!!1 HAVING MY SON AT 24 WEEKS WAS VERY SCARY BUT SHE MADE ME FEEL VERY COMFORTABLE EVEN THOUGH I WAS GOING THROUGH THE HARDEST THING YET!!! I have never rated anyone or anything on the internet, however, I felt compelled to write a review about Dr. Ruehl. I am a 55 yo female and just started seeing Dr. Ruehl a few months ago. She is the BEST doctor I have ever had the privilege of being seen by. She is very knowledgeable in diagnosis and explanation of your condition. She treats you as if you were a part of her own family. Mere words cannot explain the gratitude I have towards her. To me, she is an angel in the flesh.

Kind, compassionate Christian provider. Dr. Ruehl is the only doctor I would recomend for OB or GYN needs in the Columbus area.

I have been in the health care field for many years in this community. I am so impressed with Dr. Ruehl's compassion, empathy and bedside manner. One of the most ethical physicians I have ever met, by far.

So far so sweet! Dr. Ruehl wears her passion for the porofession. Her & her staff in office at St. Francis do all they can to keep you satisfied. Definitely recommend for prenatal care.

Dr. Ruehl is by far one of the best physicians in Columbus. She genuinely cares for each of her patients and you can feel this love from day 1. In addition, she is very knowledgeable and takes the time to address any concerns or questions the patient may have. She is always upbeat and positive, but also very relaxed rather than hyper. I wish I knew about Dr. Ruehl before my third pregnancy. She is the best!!
