Opportunity to Improve Bedside Manner
Couple visits with Dr. Rhodes Dekko and ended up switching doctors. Bottom line, Christine's bedside manner leaves a lot to be desired. Some of her comments on what a new mother 'should' do and how she 'did it', may stem from a good natured place, but actually comes off as judgmental and rude. Her actual pediatric care for a child may be great, but the way she makes a parent's decisions seem incorrect if not aligning with how she would parent as a mother herself, is diminutive and uncalled for. Hopefully this review can help her recalibrate her patient care and refocus on putting the child, mother, and families beliefs and child care preferences ahead of her own opinions.
