Dr. Christine Ng, MD

When I went to Dr. Ng, I asked for an overall skin check. At best, she examined about 25% of my skin. She was in a hurry to arm herself with liquid nitrogen so she could begin zapping (cha ching for each zap). She zapped several spots that needed it, but missed so many more. She just isn't thorough. Patient beware.

Dr Ng is a talented diagnostician who provides excellent care. My family has seen her for over 22 yrs and find her superior to any other dermatologist we've known.

I’m trying to choose a dermatologist. My friends tell me Dr Ng is excellent, but they are turned off by the front desk staff and are considering leaving the practice because of that. I also see the same sentiment in several of the reviews. Being treated courteously, professionally, and empathetically in a doctors office is important to me. Does Dr Ng speak to this issue? It appears to be a problem. Thank you.

Excellent visit with Dr. Ng and staff. She takes time to listen and offered me alternatives. She is a true clinician.

Dr. Ng is a fine doctor but I will not return because her billing person was incredibly rude when I asked her why she charged me $170 for a consult instead of my insurance's copay. She asked if I knew what a "deductible"was when she didn't know what a "copay" is. A three way call with my insurance company confirmed that I should've only paid the copay. She insisted to the BC/BS patient advocate that is what she was to collect. Well, FOUR months later she called me to tell me a refund check was coming in the mail. Dr. Ng you need to know this. I would've liked to continue seeing her as a patient but this left a bad taste in my mouth.

I liked Dr. NG but find her pretty expensive. I have Medicare Advantage and could not afford to go to her.

Very caring doctor.

I've had many derm issues throughout the years, leading me to several offices throughout FL & other states, too. I've been a patient here for 5+years. At first coming 3times a yr, now only 1. I've moved away from Jax, and travel for the great experience I receive at Advanced Derm. I've had my fill of rude medical staff; I've NEVER had that experience here. Many women can relate, our face is a complex matter. Doctor Ng & staff make me feel right at home. If you live in Jax consider yourself lucky

Been seeing Dr. Ng for years. She is the BEST. I have been to other dermatologists but once I found Dr. Ng, there was no one else to see. Seeing her is the best experience I have ever had at a doctor's office. She seldom runs late so I never have to sit in a waiting room for more than a few minutes. Her staff is always pleasant and easy to deal with.

Dr. Ng is my favorite doctor to visit for a myriad of reasons: 1) I have never had to wait more than 10min for my appointment (besides the first visit when I had to fill out my paperwork) 2) They call me when it's time for my next checkup - I don't have to remember! 3) The entire staff from check in to check out is so kind, and goes out of their way to help me 4) The sample basket has amazing goodies I highly recommend Dr. Ng to anyone looking for a thorough and pleasant dermatologist.

Dr. Ng is very nice and professional. It's her front office and billing staff are unprofessional and condescending. I will never come back because of the staff.

Office personnel are lacking customer service and basic professionalism. I will not be returning.
