Day of surgery for vulvar cancer i questioned her about the cervical displasia that was recently found. She responded "its easy for someone to just ask a surgeon to remove something." But didnt explain anything to me. Went in for my follow up exam 2 weeks post surgery, brought into a room with a desk and was told she was 'too busy taking a phone call.' They weren't even going to examine me to go back to work. Then she scheduled me 7 months out! After seeing a new doctor, I was told I should be seen every 3 months for the first 2 years. She also didn't recommend any type of therapy, or explain the scar tissue I would get. Now I rip everytime during intercourse.

Day of surgery had me wait 6+ hrs in pre-surgical area vs sending me back downstairs where I'd have had access to a toilet and my family. First post op visit she was 3+ painful long hrs late. Refused to renew pain RX 2 weeks after surgery, told me to use OTC which gave me an ulcer. Radically changed my "return to normal activity sched" after I'd returned to "normal" because other patient's identical surgery failed. Joked about my having pubic hair every follow-up in humiliating, unkind way.

Dr. Kim is amazing! She blew me away my 1st visit she was attentive, very knowledgeable, gentle, informative, and made me feel at ease about my diagnosis. She assured me that I was going to be fine and even after surgery she continues take very good care of me and I am fine. Her nursing staff are just as attentive. When I call, the staff response is quick and knowledgeable. I'm very pleased with Dr. Christine Kim and would highly recommend her.

Dr. Kim and her nurse, Samantha demonstrated excellence in every aspect of my care. Dr. Kim asked very thorough questions to get to know me and my concerns. I felt safe as both Samantha and Dr. Kim told me what they were going to do prior to doing it. In addition, Dr. Kim took a lot of time after the exam to review my scan, explain care options, and establish a short-term plan of action.

She is wonderful in knowledge and patience. Dr. Kim performed my surgery, and I had a very good experience. Before and after surgery care was consistent and what you would want from a surgeon.
