DR. HODYL IS THE BEST!!! I am very fortunate that somehow I ended up with her as my breast specialist. After many years at the Dubin Breast Center in upper Manhattan location, I opted a different location and a true blessing, Dr Hodyl came highly recommended by the Greenlawn Mount Sinai location. Truly thankful.

Dr Hodyl is simply amazing . She is extremely professional, answers any amount of queries you have, patiently addresses any concerns and makes an extra effort to make you feel that you’re important to her. Not many doctors can do that what she does flawlessly. I got a lumpectomy done from and as a young patient I had some concerns about the cosmetic aspect of the surgery. Dr Hodyl was aware of this even before i voiced my concern and she did a fantastic job, I can’t even tell where the incision or the scar is. She is truly a gifted surgeon and that explains why is the best when it comes to breast surgery. I would recommend everyone I know to go see her if they ever need to. She and her entire staff will ensure you are comfortable and well taken care of. I wish every doctor was like Dr Hodyl.

Dr Hodyl was patient, communicative, and an excellent surgeon. Cancer was removed, and even the mammography tech couldn’t find my scar! I highly recommend her.

I didn't even get to the visit. After finding a lump in my breast, my gyn suggested I contact Dr. Hodyl on 7/23. I had my mammogram records sent over immediately on 7/24 as staff suggested. Nessa said they would call me back to schedule an appt. I followed up on 8/2 and spoke to Charlene and she said she would make sure Dr. Hodyl looks at my records and Leslie would call me back for an appt. I asked if the I could at least speak to the dr and was told "The doctor does not speak to patients." I called back on on 8/10 and spoke to Maria and she said the same thing. On 8/11, Maria did call back with an appointment for September! Not sure if the doctor has blatant disregard for patients or the staff is incompetent. Either way, I am going somewhere else!!!

Dr. Hodyl was very good, I highly recomend her. I recovered quick and with no scaring. She was very nice and pleasant. She made this process really easy.

After finding out I had breast cancer at 35 years old. Dr Hodyl explained the process/surgery for the mastectomy and made me feel comfortable throughout the whole process. I would highly recommend her.

I was given several recommendations for a surgeon when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I looked them up on-line & decided to make an appointment with Dr. Hodyl. At my appointment, Dr. Hodyl explained the lab findings clearly, & explained my treatment options so I could make an informed decision. Both my husband & I felt very comfortable with her explanations as well as her compassionate & professional manner. Her staff guided me through the preparation & scheduling of surgery, & I had a lumpectomy two weeks ago. My hospital experience was positive; the nurses & staff at South Nassau Hospital were kind & efficient. While my primary concern is to be cured, I was amazed when Dr. Hodyl removed the steri-strips from my incision. The scar is minimal, & it is healing beautifully. I have no doubt that it will fade completely in a few months. Dr. Hodyl not only removed the cancerous tissue, she used precise, neat stitches to minimize scarring. I chose the right surgeon!

Dr. Hodyl was excellent. She was very professional, competent and took the time with me to explain everything. Dr. Hodly made me feel at ease and confident, both before and after surgery. She is a truly gifted person. I highly recommend her.

Very informative and attentive without rushing through the appointment

I had a fibroadenoma that had to be removed. She did an amazing job on removing it and making sure i was comfortable. The scarring is barley noticeable and the stitches dissolved properly. As a 16 year old i was terrified i thought it wasn’t going to heal properly and i didn’t know what the outcome was going to be. But i can proudly say that the results are great and it looks as though nothing ever happened.

She is kind and a good surgeon . She takes her time to make sure you understand what she is advising to be done. She didnt seem like most surgeons to me,by that I mean she was not arrogant! I had other medical issues and she discussed those with me as well. Her plastic team is is excellent. She works with Dr. Ott Young,who is also amazing. If you need breast surgery ,good luck, and God Bless!

I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and someone suggested I see Dr. Hodyl. That suggestion was the best thing that has happened to me. She is a very patient, kind, and compassionate doctor. She answered every question I had and took as much time with me as I needed to feel secure. She removed all of the cancer and did a beautiful job with my surgery. I have complete faith and confidence in Dr. Hodyl. I feel very lucky to have found such a wonderful surgeon.

Dr. Christine Hodyl, is in my opinion, one of the top Breast Surgeons. I had the pleasure of meeting her many years ago when my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. Since then she has treated my mom, my 2 sisters and myself. She is a brilliant surgeon with a loving, caring, professional bedside manner. She takes time to explain everything in a calm precise manner. She gives you her undivided attention as you ask your questions. Her and her wonderful staff, are remarkable !

Dr Hodyl did my surgery and she was top notch. No reason to go into Manhattan when we have the best of the best right here in South Nassau Hospital. I could not recommend the entire staff - from Dr. Hodyl and her surgical team, to Dr Lee and the Oncology team, to Dr. Wu and the radiation therapists. All were wonderful and super professional. They turned a crappy prospect into a great experience.

Dr. Hodyl cares. I went to Dr. H in a scared and fragile state. She fostered comfort and positive thoughts in me and my circle of support, which I believe is just as import as being a talented surgeon. As a 28 year old woman I would recommend Dr. H to EVERY woman. Her team of nurses, her nurse navigator Eileen Sino, and plastic surgeon Dr. Ott-Young provided me with the emotional support I needed and reconstructed beautiful breasts for me.

Where do I begin. This doctor is a person before a surgeon. She is professional, caring, and exact in her surgery. I have known her for many years and she remains very true. I am recovery very recent surgery and feel very comfortable. I thank God every day!

Dr. Hodyl is a master of her gift. I was fortunately placed in her care when I was diagnosed with my cancer. From the day I stepped into her office she had a calming, respectful and genuine concern for my well being. Dr. Hodyl never made choices for me, rather educated me about how to decide which choices may be best for me. I attended her seminar at South Nassau Hospital, and walked away impowered by the information she presented. Knowledge is power, and I had a great teacher , Dr. Hodyl!

Made everything easy with my appointments and insurance. Her South Nassau hospital team did a fantastic job. They explained everything patiently. Super impressed. And happy not to travel to Manhattan !!! High end doctor minutes away....so lucky Dr. Abraham Port ( my radiologist) recommended her!
