Dr. Christine Crocker, DO

I would not recommend this doctor.

So thorough. And so glad I switched PCP's to get her.She is well liked was recommended by friends & several nurses who had been caring for my husband. Dr Crocker really impressed me. And I'm not easily impressed.

Wonderful doctor

Excellent communication, very detailed and thorough preventative treatment plan, she is obviously passionate about doing what's best for her patients' individual health concerns and to help them to live healthy lives.

During a once a year appointment, Dr. Crocker hardly spoke, did not ask any questions, could not wait to get out of the exam room. Hasn't ordered blood work in almost 2 years. And was told that a particular medicine, that she was not allowed by AHN to write prescriptions for any longer. Then to find out that a friend I recommended to go to Dr. Crocker, was put on that exact medication.

Dr. Crocker did not rush me. She answered all of my questions and took her time explaining things and gave me good suggestions for improving my health.

She truly listen to what you are saying and works to find an end solution. She is a fantastic doctor that is there to help and solve ones medical needs. I would highly recommend her .

Intereseting review from, "I was actually shocked at her lack of knowledge really." Putting aside this individual's inability to correctly use the English language, I am shocked that someone, presumably without a medical degree, would make such a statement. As a physician with 20 years of experience, I can proudly state that I choose to see Dr. Crocker as my internist. She has taken good care of my one medical problem (i.e., hypertension). In addition, she saved the life of a friend, who was having a myocardial infarction her office. After her assessment, she sent him to Allegheny General Hospital immediately, and he underwent urgent coronary bypass. At present, he continues to work and support his family.

I had heard very good recommendations about Dr. Crocker after my PCP moved to a different job, so I signed up with her. I have had only one telemedicine visit with her so far due to COVID-19, but she was absolutely wonderful - caring, attentive and friendly. I hope to eventually meet her in person and continue as her patient into the future.

Dr Crocker is the kindest and easiest doctor to talk to. She literally sits down with you and explains everything in detail. She makes YOU part of your health care decisions.

Listened thoroughly and then worked with me (didn’t just tell me what to do). Never felt better.

I became a new patient of hers after she was recommended to me by several people who work at the hospital. I kept hearing about her from lots of different people. I had to wait almost 4 months to get in but it was worth the wait. I have diabetes and high blood pressure and have been unhappy with my weight for years but after seeing her I see some light at the end of the tunnel. She really listened and changed a bunch of my medications and I feel great. She’s even helping me lose weight!

She's amazing. She truly listens and is very thorough. She won't stop until she gets results. I'd recommend her to anyone.

Saw this physician at West Penn Hospital where she occasionally sees patients for consults. An absolutely outstanding experience. This physician is extremely intelligent & clearly keeps up with new medical research. Makes you feel that she is truly concerned about you and will improve your health and wellness. Suggested things to help me that my regular physician had never suggested (even when I had asked him for input) and truly listened to my concerns. I highly recommend her 10++++

Dr Crocker is a wonderful Doctor. Her care and due diligence to her patients is second to none. My Mom would recommend her to anyone in need of a competent, helpful, caring physician. Some of the staff that surround her leaves a lot to be desired unfortunately. In a world lacking in patience and needing some desperately, some members of this staff fall short in the "people skills" department. There is hope that they can learn from bad reviews and correct that which can be easily corrected.

I have had issues with chronic migraines for years and she is the first doctor to sit down with me and go through every med I have tried. I felt so much relief talking to her that I actually cried. She has put me in a new regimen and I am hopeful about felling better finally. I am glad I listened to the people who urged me to see her. Everyone says the nicest things about how smart and caring she is and they are 100 percent correct.

I saw this doctor today for the first time after my old doctor retired and I have never felt more comfortable with a doctor before. She listened to all of my concerns and spent a lot of time with me. I just love her and could not be happier.

This doctor really impressed me with her knowledge. What’s unbelievable is that she is also a lawyer and so kindly answered the many questions I had about my work injury. My wife and I are so grateful to her. Also, I have never felt better. My wife had switched to her as well.
