Poor Demeanor and Unhelpful
I found her to be rude and very off putting. She seemed annoyed and I will not return to her again.

I called to establish becoming a new patient as my general physician has been treating my under active thyroid for years. Lately, it's been fluctuating so much that I wanted to see a specialist. I called her office and was told I need a referral from my Dr. They sent over all necessary paperwork. They get a call back from her office stating she does not want to take me on as a patient. 'At this time an appointment is not warranted, that my Dr can manage it.' My Dr does not specialize in endocrinology, that is why I called her.

MD in title only... apparently
I'm a new patient for osteoporosis follow up care...she was borderline rude, arrogant, aloof, had no interest in reviewing my lab work she "didn't order... not her area"...seriously?!? Dismissed me like I was wasting her time. Come back December... not gonna happen!

Breathtakingly Appalling
I was relieved to be seeing a specialist after years of dealing with thyroid disease. What I got was one of the most brusque, borderline-rude encounters I’ve ever had at a doctor’s office. I don't expect hand-holding, but a little compassion goes a long way when someone’s not feeling well & in a vulnerable state. The tension in the room was uncomfortable as Dr. Decker rushed through my chart, spoke in terse, impatient tones, & raised her voice to me when I asked questions. Her agitation and testiness were disturbing & I don't appreciate being treated as a nuisance for asking questions, which is my RIGHT as a patient. Topping off a bad experience was her indifferent announcement that there was nothing she could do for me that wasn’t already being done by my primary doctor. Hello? She’s a SPECIALIST. How could the answer be nothing? She was condescending, uncaring, & ruined my day with her terrible attitude. A porcupine with a 105-degree fever would have a more congenial bedside manner

Dr Alexander-Decker is in a word Awesome. She is very friendly and personable. I have no doubt she has my best interests in mind with my health care. She is patient and takes the time to answer all of my questions and makes joint decisions on how best to manage my diabetes. Would highly recommend her to anyone in need of a top notch endocrinologist.

I almost cancelled my appt with Dr Alexander-Decker due to some of these negative reviews. I am SO very glad I didn't cancel. I could not recommend a more personable endocrinologist ! Dr was pleasant, patient, and personable. She answered all of my questions, and listened to all of my concerns. She reviewed my history, advised me, and reassured me about my illness. I highly recommend Dr Christine Alexander-Decker !!

I would not recommend anyone to Dr.Alexander-Decker. She want not friendly at all. My visit was at max 8 minuets with her and she kept dismissing my symptoms. She never looked me in the eye and was very rude when reviewing my paperwork. She acted like she was annoyed with me even being there. I felt like I wasted my time and a co-pay on an 8 minuet visit that I didn't even get any answers from.

I have been with Dr Alexander for years. She helped me get my insulin pump and manage my diabetes. I was using 6 to 700 units of insulin daily. She helped me get it back down 60 or 70 daily. 10% of what I used to need. I don't think I would be alive today without her help. Peter
