Formal Complaint Regarding Inadequate Medical Care
A very disappointing experience with my doctor today. She attended to me 49 minutes past my scheduled appointment and showed up completely unprepared, admitting she hadn’t even reviewed my patient chart — despite my extensive history of tests and blood work.Despite my serious symptoms, her only suggestion was a referral to a dermatologist, which felt dismissive and irrelevant. When I expressed my concerns about her unprofessional service, she excused it by saying she had just returned from maternity leave.As a mother myself, I understand the challenges of balancing work and family, but that is no excuse for poor patient care. Previous doctors I’ve seen at this office have demonstrated far better professionalism, preparation, and concern for my well-being.This experience was frustrating and deeply disappointing — patients deserve better.
