I have been seeing Dr. McDonald for several years and have been very happy with her services. She is very knowledgeable and compassionate, a great listener and very responsive to my concerns. The office staff is also great and they offer in office blood draws.

Comfortable on First Visit
My prior physician moved and I needed a family physician. On my first visit Dr. McDonald spent quite a bit of time asking questions, I felt like she was interested in getting to know me as a new patient. Over the multiple visits I have had with her, she has been attentive and responsive to any concerns or questions I've had. Would highly recommend her to others.

I am a 65 year old male and saw Dr. McDonald for a Medicare welcome visit. I found her calm manner and gentle nature a delight. She did a thorough review of my medical history and explained why that was important to my future care. I had frequent moves during my working life and had a number of physicians. More than any previous doctor, Dr. McDonald made me feel she cared about me as a person and not just another patient.

I am a healthy 61 year old female. I saw Dr McDonald for a routine check up. Her exam was not very thorough and I requested she call in my maintenance prescriptions for the next year. When I was getting low on my asthma med, I called my pharmacy for a refill thinking that Dr McDonald had followed through as we discussed. She had not and it took multiple phone calls from the pharmacy and finally me to get the prescription called in. Just this week it happened again with another med.

Dr McDonald was not thorough with my exam. She made no effort to establish a rapport. She did not call in prescriptions and I had to call back 2 timesbefore I got them. I fired her.

Dr. McDonald was my primary care physician by default in acquiring health insurance for the first time in a few years. She refused to do a physical on me because I was 24 and at a healthy age. She seemed to be genuine but her care said otherwise. My questions went unanswered and she patronized me multiple occasions. I would not recommend this physician. The other staff was excellent and I would return to Mission MyCare Plus.

She seems personable enough, and took time with our entire family. She referred us to needed specialists for our respective conditions. I was kind of troubled that they separated my wife and I and she stated that they asked her questions about domestic violence situations (my wife is a trained concealed weapons carrier, an armed momma bear, that isn't going to happen.)
