Dr. Christina Gwozdz, MD

I had a hearing loss emergency that needed immediate attention. I called Dr. Gwodz's office at 10:00am and they got me in for an 11:00am appointment the same day. The audiologist did a full hearing test to assess the level of hearing loss. Then I met with Dr. Gowozdz. She was compassionate and thorough. By noon I had a prescription for treatment and a follow up appointment scheduled. On may way out, the audiologist adjusted my hearing aid program to compensate with the hearing loss I experienced, which is hopefully temporary. I could not be more pleased with Dr. Gwozdz, her staff and the audiologist that works with her.

Disrespectful and dismissive. I have tried to get an appointment with Dr Gwozdz for over a month. Meanwhile I have suffered from vertigo, nausea, dizziness, and life-threatening falls. Her ignorant office staff keeps coming up with additional medical records requests, before scheduling an appointment. I have authorized multiple records requests which Gwozdz’s office seems to lose. I even drove across town to tape a letter pleading for some concern and an appointment. I got a rude call from her assistant (MK), who once again dreamed up yet another medical record request. As I review other ratings, I see this is a systemic trademark of the Gwozdz incompetence dynasty. STAY AWAY.

I made an appointment for ringing in my ears, drove 45 minutes from home each way, took the day off of work, only for her to spend less than a minute with me explaining that she does not test for ringing in the ears and charged me $58.00.

Sent for unnecessary and terribly expensive cat scan. Charged 2nd visit fee for what was a followup to unnecessary scan. No dispute process.

Very friendly and seemed to care. She listened to what I said and seemed to care

I had prewritten my medical history but Dr. Gwozdz chose not to read it, and instead had me explain in detail. She then checked her watch 3 times, tapped her foot, and said we need to wrap it. Obviously felt I was wasting her time or she wanted to be somewhere else. The baseboard and partial wallboards had been removed due to flooding from the hurricane - you could hear everything said from the patient room thru to the waiting room.

I have seen Dr. Gwozdz over the last several years. Once was a consult for a parotid cyst. Dr. Gwozdz set up the necessary biopsy and scan, and followed through with perodic visits to assure it had not grown back. I have seen Dr. Gwozdz for chronic sinus problems and she has very helpful. She is approachable quick on the uptake. There are no communication problems.
