seemed great at first
Dr. Gillespie seemed great at first, but over time it because clear that not committed to patient-engaged care. I experienced her as dismissive of my perspective, condescending, unreceptive to scientific evidence, and uninformed on recent developments that should be informing her approach to care. Her low quality care is a big reason I am leaving the Kaiser system after more than a decade as a patient.

Horrible experience. Don't waste your time
She was in a great hurry. Only interested in leaving a few minutes after she entered the room almost one hour later than scheduled. She wouldn't listen to you at all. She asked me to email her the questions later. But she refused all my reasonable medications and referrals to reduce her troubles. She is a nightmare and most horrible doctor I have ever seen. Not responding to your requests even you repeated multiple times. I don't think that she cares at all. AVOID HER at all costs!!!!!

Great Doctor
Dr. Gillespie has been my physician for a number of years. I've never found a physician who I trusted more with my health. She listens to my concerns and asks excellent questions for clarification. She is an excellent diagnostician. She has no hesitation when referrals to specialists are warranted.

Don't waste your time or risk your health!
DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR. I'm not even sure if I should call her a doctor, she is the worst one I've ever had in my life. She has no regard for her patients' health, does not give referrals, and won't send you for tests to check on things that could potentially be cancer. She is also dismissive and just overall not a person to trust when it comes to your health.

Dr. Gillespie took a thorough medical history and gave me prompt referrals. She listened attentively, ordered tests as necessary and made me a real partner in my healthcare. She showed a broad and deep knowledge of her field.

She was pretty terrible. She denied me referrals and thinks whatever she says regardless if it is true or not is the cure patients need. There's no trust with her. I feel bad for anyone who has to see her!! Switch insurances if you can.

Terrible. Do not go to Dr. Gillespie, M.D. She was also dismissive of my symptoms and refused to perform lab tests for diabetes, etc even for my yearly annual physical. After repeatedly asking her she agreed to test my cholesterol levels.

Dr. Gellespie dismissed my symptoms involving shortness of breath, saying that I had a chronic neurological condition and that I should see a psychologist. Less than 72 hours later, I was in Sibley hospital with multiple pulmonary embolisms, including a saddle embolism. I have had a long road to recovery, and found Dr. Gellespie to be cursory and curt.
