Dr. Christina Canody, MD

Dr Canody has been my daughter's Pediatrician since she was born. Dr. Canody is caring, attentive, engages with the patient and parent, communicates clearly what's going on as well as plan of action, open to dialog about the care of the child, knows what she's doing. My daughter is 18 years old this year 2020 and Dr Canody continues to be her pediatrician. My daughter and I trust Dr. Canody and asked her if she could continue to see my daughter and for how long which Dr Canody replied that she can help her until 4 years of College which is great news!

Dr. Canody always takes her time to listen to concerns. She will ask about both of my children - even if only 1 of them are there for an appointment. She is responsive when you call after hours. The office staff always gets us in quickly for an appointment . She writes down everything she tells us. Our prior pediatrician was awful which is why I switched to Canody 8 years ago and have never considered leaving. I am wondering if these bad reviews are reviewing the correct practice? I highly recommend Dr. Canody

Horribly dismissive, made jokes about viruses. Luckily a nurse in the office whispered to us -after many appointments- that we ought to see another doc. Good thing! My child had a life-threatening condition that Dr. Canady never detected!

Dr. Canody is great with both our kids. She is a calming presence around them. They respond well to her. Canody is neither too conservative nor too radical in her treatment options. She is logical and helpful in her explanations. Many of our friends kids see her as well. Easy to get in and see her too. My son is 6 and my daughter is 3 now. It's always easy to take the kids in to see her. Both have beeing seeing her since birth. Excellent choice we made as parents! Love her!

We were recommended to Dr. Canody and after just a few visits, realized that she is not the doctor for our family. She does not seem genuine or concerned about our concerns at all. She seemed preoccupied and while she did spend time in the room with us, she was very dismissive. Thankfully we discovered this before too long and are much happier with our new pediatrician.

Love Dr. Canody!! She is kind, patient and cares about the wellness of my child. She doesn't rush out of the room and makes sure Jake gets the attention he needs. He loves her too by the way so it is a lot easier getting him to her office.

Dr. Canody is always very professional and carrying for the well being of our two daughters. She always goes the extra mile to make sure she explains the problem and ways to relieve the symptoms. You can trust her with the care she provides to your children.

After finally getting online & seeing some very similar stories from other reviews, I've finally decided to leave mine. I'm horribly disappointed with Dr Canody & her remaining staff. We entrusted all of our children with her & she was not honest to us. Her practice clearly ended up in shambles & she had to sell it. Her Old staff were honest & knew she was doing wrong. They even warned us that our children were not getting proper care. We now know that was True. Don't go there or trust her!

Poor quality of care, bedside manner not as great as it 1st seems. I don't spend an hour waiting with my children/child to see a doctor who only wants to discuss local gossip or who's who. Sadly, their health was declining & once we realized she was offering no help, we left! Overlooked a heart murmur as trivial, now seeing cardiology for treatment; dismissed my 2nd child's repeated skin conditions as eczema, turns out it's severe allergies; my youngest is missing 5 vaccines! Very upsetting!
