He was not friendly from the beginning. He treated me like how I was feeling was invalid. Made me feel stupid when I asked if an influenza test was necessary. Felt like he was more focused on the computer as opposed to listening to my symptoms and experiences. Seemed like he was second guessing when I would explain past medications and visits. Honestly I felt like leaving during the appointment, but didn't have the energy and felt very anxious. He could just be very straight to the point, but it felt like he really just didn't take the time to care. Almost treated me like I was a waste of his time. I definitely don't want to go back to him in the future. I am a very considerate person and respect everyone as I work in the customer service industry, and I know how draining it must be as a doctor dealing with patients everyday but I'm a very nice person and definitely regretted going to see him at this clinic.

Horrible!
I visited for a general appt with Dr. Sorenson when my PCP was unavailable. I now understand why he had so many openings! His bedside manner was absolutely horrible and I left the appt in tears. He made me feel horrible when, obviously not reviewing my chart prior to the appt, he got upset that my appt was not made longer for a new patient, as if it was my fault. He also denied all of the original requests that I had in regards to the appt and sent me away with no answers or any chance for follow up, not that I wanted one with him anyways. Be patient and schedule out further if needed to get any other PA or MD who will care much more and have proper bedside manner.

I answered his questions but got mmhmm answers. Asked questions were not fully addressed. Note written didn't include all three of my pertinent care concerns. Messaging after the visit very poor and I probably won't be back.

I will definitely see him again!
I had a visit with him when my pc was not available. So glad I met him. He is thoughtful, very skilled AND called me a week later with a suggestion! I followed up with it, got very good information from another doctor, now have two additional reliable sources for dealing with my health issues. I highly recommend Dr. Sorensen.

Outright Refused to fill much needed prescription because I contacted the pharmacy when I needed a refill as is policy at many Healthcare providers. "Should have contacted provider first" given for reason of denial. Other refusal reasons included a high (.01 above normal) blood work level a specialist Sorensen referred me to described as being normal, being told by his nurse I have a 2nd disease but having no other information to give about it, finally being told by his nurse when she had no other logical excuses, "he's just not going to fill it". There were other medications or treatments he could have provided but instead stonewalled me causing months of further issues due to his lack of care giving. 0 stars.

Does not respond to questions, or gives minimalist responses. Started out by walking into my annual physical, where I had a list of health issues to discuss, and telling me he may need to leave early to take a call. That's his MO. I told him I had oral thrush and he did not even examine my mouth. Got me out of my annual physical by asking me to go to lab and come back, then would not see me when I came back up. Had looked briefly at his computer screen and said he couldn't find a test in my records, so couldn't do the test again; didn't know what test it was. I went home, checked my records and found it. Refuses to answer simple questions via messages about post visit test results; says he will call instead, then does not call. Messaged him again multiple times and he still refuses to answer simple questions. I also believe he lied to me several times. Health system patient relations department did nothing to help.

I think he’s a good physician and is understanding, however, his staff is less than friendly and honestly, I think they will end up losing him a lot of patients due to their negative attitudes and grouchy demeanors. This is not his fault, but no ones wants to get haggled from the receptionist taking a message nor get a call back from a nurse that is very rude and makes it clear she could really care less.
