Dr. Christian Ramsey, MD

I had a microdiscectomy performed by Dr. Ramsey this morning. I can say, I’ve gotten immediate relief from the pain in my leg and my right lower back. Dr. Ramsey is a very diligent and compassionate doctor. He explained everything clearly, risks versus reward. We decided to go forward with the surgery, and I couldn’t be happier. Dr. Ramsey is very talented at his art, a very good surgeon. Also, I’d like to thank the team at Baptist health for their professionalism and efforts to make me comfortable during this surgery. I gave Dr. Ramsey five stars because he deserves them, I would’ve given him 10 stars if it was available.

Very straightforward and honest. Met Dr. In 2017 with Cervical MRI in hand. My cervical spine was collapsing at C2 &3. The doctor kept stressing how serious my condition was but also admitted to not having experience in stabilizing and referred me on. I ended up seeing surgeon in Chicago, but I will never forget his compassion and honesty.

Went in for sciatica pain and he starred talking about a spinal cord stimulator for my neck. My neck doesn’t hurt. He only spent about 10 minutes with me. I do not recommend him.

Can't say enough wonderful things about Dr. Ramsey & his staff! I broke my neck and he performed the surgery that put me back together again. He was thorough in his explanations pre-surgery and instructions afterward. Besides being skilled, he was kind and basically everything you'd hope for in a physician. I don't know how the people at Baptist managed so well in the year of COVID, but they didn't seem to miss a beat. My gratitude to all of them has no bounds!

Excellent surgeon. Saved me from being paralyzed following a car collision. Very tricky procedure. He really cares about his patients.

Best surgeon. I have known Dr Ramsey for 12 years. He just did a acdf 6-7 on me and the surgery couldn't have been better. I would have expected more pain after surgery but honestly I believe getting a finger surgery would have been worse. He made a very small anterior incision and I anticipate very little scarring from how well he put it back together. I find him very easy to talk to. He is just like I am, straight forward and blunt. He will listen and discuss any options that I have had. He is always available along with his staff. He will be doing a c 5-6 artificial disc replacement within the next month. I wouldn't want any other neurosurgeon operating on me. I consider him a friend and trust him on making the right decision for the care that I need. He is intelligent and is always thinking. He also isn't a doctor to hand out pain medicines for no reason. I am very much looking forward to my disc replacement and glad that we did the one level fusion. Recommend highly

Wonderful excellent doctor. He saved after two brain anerysms. I couldn't ask for a better doctor for my family. Top notch caring doctor. He offered excellent services. Very trustworthy.

Doctor Ramesy was very thorough with his exam in the MRIs the disc and explaining the options we had what was the best way to go with my situation was not in her he took his time to talk and explain everything. Everything came out terrific after my surgery everything he said would happen has and I am on a great recovery I couldn't be more pleased with the best doctors I've ever seen . Everyone at his office the whole complete staff are very Nice and caring very Pleasant .

It has been five months since I had my lumbar laminectomy. For several I was walked with terrible pain in my legs. we recently came back from a two-week vacation in Costa Rica and I did enjoy walking a mile on the beach morning and evening. before the surgery I could not walk 10 feet without pain. I am back to walking two miles a day, go to the gym every day, and I am totally without pain 24/7. i cannot thank Dr. Ramsey and his Assistant Evan enough for what they did for me. Age 77 yrs.

Doctor Ramsey performed major back surgery on me and within hours of the operation I noticed significant improvement !! Before and after the surgery he informed me as to what he was going to do and and explained the outcome. I could not be any more pleased with Doctor Ramsey and his entire staff! !
