I’ve never cried during a doctor’s visit but a first for everything. I’ve also never met a less sympathetic person in my life. I was outright told to my face I have no reason to be experiencing this much pain. And when I told him it forced me to stop full time work and my hobbies he said “I don’t think that’s true.” Turned me down when I asked to schedule to the epidural I got approved for. He gave me no other options for pain but then suggested this could be a brain issue and I could consider psychiatric help. By the end of the visit he managed to turn me being upset into an attack on him. His staff has also been immensely rude and unhelpful: not informing me of telehealth procedures, berating me for not knowing them, and not responding to my voicemails about test results and prior auths not informing him. I sincerely hope no one else ever has to go through what I did.

Dr. Piccolo gave me back my life. He is a straight talking, honest doctor who cares about his patients’ long term well-being. After back surgery, I suffered with opioid dependency for over 14 years. Doctor after doctor kept writing more and more prescriptions for pain pills until my brain was no longer mine. I had become a shell of my former self. I knew that my pain medicine was actually causing most of my pain (not all – but most). I was caught in a vicious cycle... take an addictive pill to relieve the pain which is caused (for the most part) by the pill itself. Dr. Piccolo helped me rip off the band-aid and ended this horrible cycle. He helped freed me from my dependency. He gets it! Two years opioid free and counting... Thank you Dr. Piccolo.

Had over a good year with the dr. Until secretary discussed my medication regime in the waiting room in front of other patients. Very unprofessional! Upon complaining to dr my prescriptions were then written differently to the point of sometimes not being able to be filled. Every month there after the was some discrepancy, lesser amounts of medication, prescriptions written for headache? I checked no headache on my pre visit form for over a year. There was something for me to address with him every month. I was told I complained too much and to find another dr. When I said my complaints stemmed from the prescription variations he basically grasped for words, and informed me my insurance was terrible also.I was treated horribly in this matter and trust me there is more to come other than a bad review.

He has been treating me for severe back pain for over a year. He is very quick to want to do all types of injections. I was extremely happy with him until I asked him to fill out a form for disability. He turned into a completely different Dr, he was extremely condescending and rude and even laughed. I left the office and cried in my car because he treated me so badly. Look elsewhere for a Dr that will respect you and take your pain seriously

At the first appointment the doctor was very dismissive, barely listened to me let alone helped. Went to make follow up appointment forgot to write it down called for 3 weeks with no call back, finally got someone on the phone for them to tell me I missed my appointment. Extremely rude and unprofessional staff which would turn anyone away from the office since you have to go through them to get to the doctor

As I have seen this doc more than once, my trust is taking a nose dive. He is very ambiguous and never seems to give much of an opinion. I can’t seem to get him to give any recommendations or a clear answer that meds are the only option I have. At my last visit I explained that my new neurologist is putting me on CYMBALTA. Piccolo then tells me it’s the best med for fibromyalgia! If he knows that shouldn’t he have put me on it! Don’t waste your time with this one.

My biggest fault was to tell Dr. Piccolo that I was an MD. He told me that I need Insurance approval and that his staff was going to take care of that. I wait and wait with my pain and two weeks later I call and they have not even looked at my file and offered to see me more than one month away. His staff told me they do no use e-mail...WOW Either he is busy or he did not want to see me again In conclusion he is trowing roadblocks to start the process of radiofrequency ablation Tx.

A great experience. Dr. Piccolo is personable, knowledgeable and explains everything thoroughly. Even more importantly, his treatments have worked ! Staff is awesome and office is immaculately clean. Appointments are booked far into future, but that's because of the demand. Call and try to get a cancellation. Highly recommended.
