Dr. Christian Imensek, MD

I had a liver biopsy on September 16th 2024 the day after I was having some trouble breathing. Went to the ER, mistake and ended up with this Dr. I can only say if I were bleeding to death and he was the only one that could see me I'd go to another hospital and hope I don't die on the way. Condescending, dismissive, anxiety, all in my head. Anxiety would have made sense the day of the procedure not after. If I could give him no stars I would. Avoid at all cost. Rude, superiority complex. I will never not check the ER to make sure he isn't working. I wouldn't trust him to take care of my dog let alone a human being.

Dr. Imensek was extremely condescending and berating. I was unable to completely describe the cause of my visit before being cut off and told I was having anxiety. There was no sense of bedside manner. I feel that my quality of care was negatively impacted by the lack of thorough assessment. I was never asked about medical history, current medications, or allergies. This all was concerning considering medications were ordered and prescriptions were written. The medication prescribed is something I am already taking except in a lower dose which is not effective for me. The lack of rapport and quality care were unnerving. I would never allow this doctor to care for me or a loved one again. I would suggest seeking care from anyone but Dr. Imensek.

Horrible bedside manner. Should be in research maybe -NOT dealing with patients. RUDE

This was the worst ER experience I’ve ever had. I told this doctor that I felt as if it was more than what he diagnosed me with. Everyone knows their own bodies and if I requested further lab testing because I felt what he stated what was wrong was inaccurate. I asked this doctor more than once and he stated that it was at his discretion and I should visit a heath department. First of all you work everyday (8-5) and I have no time for that. I came to the ER because I felt this was an emergency.

Stay away from this doctor! He diagnosed me with anxiety (due to hurricane, he said) for a red dot I had in my arm that a week later my primary doctor said it was a bite from who knows.. an insect or so causing my reaction in my arm that scared me for a bit so that is why I went to ER. This doctor never checked my pulse. blood tests NOTHING!!! He showed up and assume what I had based on what the nurse on shift told him when she asked at my arrival. I doubt he earned a real degree.

Lakeland Regional Hospital ER 4/15/17. My husband and I have never experienced anyone as rude and uncompassionate as this doctor. I've never given a review before but I feel like I need to warn others.
