Disappointing Follow-Up Care
Recently visited the Dr. based on available slot in Eden Prairie MN office for a follow-up after a pediatric surgical procedure and was very disappointed with the experience. The pediatrician I met was unable to provide any meaningful assistance, simply stating that they were not a surgeon and couldn’t evaluate the post-surgical healing.While I understand that pediatricians may not specialize in surgery, I would expect any doctor to perform a basic assessment of a healing incision and provide guidance or reassurance to a concerned parent. Instead, I left feeling dismissed and without any actionable information about the recovery process.I hope the clinic improves how they handle follow-ups for surgical cases, as patients and families deserve better support and care during recovery.

Dr. Langer has been nothing short of AMAZING as a ped for our first child. From the start, she has been SO supportive with our breastfeeding journey and has always been one to stay in our appt as long as needed to answer questions and give feedback for our little one. I have heard horror stories of other peds sharing outdated information to new moms and Dr. Langer has always answered us honestly. She also is a mother to a toddler so she understands what its like to be a new mom. Shes the best!
