Chitra Malur is a charlatan of the first order. Her credentials are more than questionable, and she draws her medical practice straight out of some Indian god superstition, complete with torturing patients as a psychiatric treatment. Malur is currently a defendant in a medical negligence and psychiatric malpractice lawsuit in Suffolk Superior Court. She has been sued in her personal and professional capacities for psychiatric malfeasance, misfeasance, and nonfeasance, patient abuse, violation of patient rights, and supervisory liability. This woman who, somehow, runs the psychiatric department at St. Elizabeth Medical Center set up this racket whereby she uses the hospital emergency department as a hunting ground to fill beds and bill insurance for unnecessary hospital admissions as a means of keeping her dark-ages psychiatric department financially viable. This physician is unfit to practice medicine, and is a menace to patients.
