I am 71 years old. I wanted a doctor dealing specifically with geriatrics. I wrote down all information re: my prescription medication and procedures to include supplements of which I had a fairly large listing. Procedures in particular do not follow through the system. She proceeded with experienced insight regarding personal requirements. She refers to highly qualified specialists as needed. She adjusts prescriptions as needed based on testing and/blood tests. She answers questions openly.

I have No Words to express how satisfied I’m coming here to the office with my residents, to see Dr. Chitra Fernando and others Doctors. Always, friendly people in the front easy to schedule appointment and Nurses returns our calls we have made very fast. I know Dr. Fernando for more than 5 years , my residents are very happy to come and see her, so i Definitely Highly Recommend Dr. Fernando Chitra as you next geriatric MD Marinell I Bellevue WA

Been coming here for the past 3 years, Dr. Fernando C. Is very knowledgeable, always taking time to listen to concerns we have and always explained very well to the health questions me may have, Not to mention the front desk and Nurses are top notch to work with any appointment or concerns we had, definitely I recommend this office especially Dr. Fernando Chitra as you next geriatric doctor.

Horrible experience with this “doctor”. No bedside manner, disregard for patient and their time. Contentious, rude and unprofessional. Also ill prepared and poor communication. Challenged my answers to questions I knew were correct. Don’t waste your time. By far the most miserable experience ever encountered with a medical “professional”.

In follow-up appointment, she had not reviewed the material from previous appointment. Did not plan to run needed follow-up test until I pushed for it. Thought I was there for something other than the follow-up she scheduled. Did not remember some of the discussion from previous appointment (that was in her notes) until I reminded her, then she read her notes and agreed. At times ignored patient in room (with mild dementia) and directed all conversation to relative, leaving patient ignored.
