Bilateral lung transplant
Beyond excellent! Dr Mangukia was an answer to my prayers! His knowledge regarding lung transplants was borderline brilliant. His way of anticipating issues that arose after my surgery helped help me and my family to remain calm. His bedside manner is so calming it meant so much to me and especially to my family. He took his time with explanations and answering questions. My family was so thankful that he took his time with them and most importantly with me! I highly recommend him for lung surgery!

Dr. Mangukia was the assisting surgeon during my recent heart transplant. He was the physician who explained to my family and myself how the procedure would go and what to expect. It was an extremely scary time for my family but Dr. Mangukia was able to help ease that anxiety through his excellent explanations, wonderful bedside manner and caring attitude. My family knew I was in the best hands possible. He also was the physician who came out and spoke with my wife and son after my surgery was over ( after a long day in the Operating Room). He took the time to do that which meant so much to my family. After a stressful day, it was so helpful to see a familiar face and a trusting one. I feel so blessed to have met Dr. C. Mangukia and had him as my physician during THE most important surgery of my life. I highly recommend him - I would give him more stars if I could. Anyone would be blessed to have him as their Doctor.
