Dr. Chirag Patel, MD

He rarely looks at you except for the obligatory BP and heart listen. Most of the time he types silently on his computer while you are not sure he is even listening to you. Does not ask probing questions about your condition so its up to you to convince him you have a problem.

Understand my brother being upset from out of town but Iove the office staff & just maybe to say only I could talk bout her records so not so upset but u may have. My Mom loved the Dr & all office staff so did make visits easier esp later on & now shes getting good care in heaven. They put the sweetest comments that made me cry in a card so nicely sent.

Was going to him for about 6.5 years. The last two years I did not see him but his nurse practitioner. Wanted a referral to a Specialist and the day before I was to see the Specialist I got a call saying they did not get the referral so I called Patel's office and was told he was on vacation and the office staff was to busy. I immediately found another doctor. Then it took over a month to get my medical records.

OUR LAST APPOINTMENT WITH DR. PATEL WAS A DISASTER. WE DISAGREED WITH HIS DIAGNOSIS AS DID THE OFFICE OF THE SPECIALIST HE REFERRED US . HE TOLD BOTH MY WIFE AND I HE DO LONGER WNTED US AS PATIENTS AFTER 6 YEARS. HE CAN BE VERY RUDE AND DON'T LIKE TO BE QUESTIONED. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND DR. CHARAG PATEL TO ANYONE.

My husband and I went to Dr Patel approximately 3 times each. We are both 68, both have chronic health problems. First visit we were seen together by his Nurse Practitioner. He spent an hour going over our medications. The next appointment, NP again. Again, visit mostly consisted of medication reviews. When we checked out that day we asked to be seen by the doctor on our next visit. Next visit, NP again. I reminded them that we had asked to be seen by the Doctor. A few minutes later, Doctor came in and, with an attitude, told me that he does not have time to be seeing Medicare patients and that we would have to continue our visits with the NP. When my husband went in for his appointment after me, the only person he saw the doc long enough to rudely be told the same thing. We have Tricare 4 Life, about the best insurance you can have. And because we fussed with them about our inability to see the doc, a few days later we both received letters firing us. RET MIL STAY AWAY !

My mom suffered a bad knee cap break last year from a fall and Dr Patel performed the surgery. He took the time to explain the problem, how he was going to fix it and what to expect during recovery. It is rare to find a physician who will take their time with their patients and it is much appreciated in this rushed world. Mostly recently, my mom suffered another fall injuring her hand and shoulder again Dr Patel has treated my mom as I imagine he would treat his mom with the upmost care and concern. We would highly recommend Dr. Patel.

He thinks he knows more than my cardiologist, he changes my cardiologists prescriptions, when confronted with a smashed finger he told me not to worry that it is normal for some one my age to have a jammed finger _ had to go to an emergency clinic where they took the time to look at it and x ray it finding it was a smashed joint, surgery required! No I had a collapsed lung, and fractured ribs and he will dismiss it as nothing wrong!

Man, I just called to make an appt as i am a new patient and from the minute i picked up the phone with Melissa, i knew that was not the place for me as she was rude and acted like i was bothering her or interrupting her from something or called her at a bad time. If a person cannot handle their work or is in a customer service position and you hate your job, don't take it out or give that bad energy to other people, just quit your job and find a job you like as there are a lot of people that need jobs and will do the work you hate to do. I don't deal with people with attitude issues. And that is before i even got to get in to see the dr so i can only imagine what i would be getting myself into, especially after i just now read the bad reviews similar to my experience. There are just too many Dr.s out there to have to deal with this nonsense.

Good doctor, asks if any questions and seems compassionate. I would recommend him to friends and family.

Dr. Patel is a very understanding Dr. he is professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. I would recommend Dr. Patel to my family and my friends.

I have had this man since I have been Florida (12 Yrs ) and he has never steered me wrong . He tells it like it is and is very straight forward . He always has time to listen and I have never felt like a dollar sign . His staff is great and I have recommended many people to him including my family and have yet to hear anything bad . I will also say this , he speaks very good English and shall I say this means a lot to me . If I don't understand I leave or hang up . I have never had a problem .

I truly believe that Dr. Patel stays on top of things. .I feel very confident in whatever he explains to me and trust his judgment! I would recommend him to anyone searching for a primary care physician.. He listens to your problems and you never feel rushed.

My wife had an appt. with Dr. C.Patel yesterday,and I was feeling I’ll from a lingering caugh and cold and asked if he could see me at the same time. He checked me out and sent two prescriptions to my pharmacy. This has always been the norm for Dr.Patel. He is a young man and he is up on modern meds. We are both happy he is our primary doctor.

I have been a patient of Dr Patel for many years. He is one of the Best Doctors you can go to. He will sit down with you (which is unheard of today) listen to you do the right tests and give you the right results. He is not a salesman he is a Doctor that will do what he feels right for your problem. More Doctors should be like Dr. Patel.

Very professional and very personable

We selected C Patel when my wife was in the hospital facing a serious situation. Our primary was 50 miles away and we needed a local PCP. Chirag Patel is very responsive to her medical needs and I have since selected him as my PCP. He is smart and pleasant in his practice..

Waits for patient's statements. Is warm and friendly in his demeanor.
