Not a good experience
I saw Dr. Park because numerous physicians and people told me a rheumatologist would be able to help diagnose suspected autoimmune conditions (of which I already have two that are non-musculoskeletal). Dr. Park literally laughed when I said I had no joint pain, and that I wasn't an 'interesting case' for her as my main symptoms were extreme fatigue, orthostatic intolerance, and brain fog. She did however eventually order ANA testing which was crucial to ruling out AI conditions, but she was not helpful in getting me diagnosed with ME-CFS which is what I actually have.

So glad I found Dr. Park
Fantastic. First doctor who actually went through test results from other places and explained them to me in commonsense English. Very thorough and caring.

Keep looking, you can find a better Doctor!
Dr. Park is lackluster. Don't waste your time with her, you deserve better. I am so happy I switched to a much more skilled and personable doctor who is invested in my positive outcomes. Dr Park...frequently runs late, rushes through her time with me. Dr Park is seldom prepared for me, often forgets my name and condition until she has read my chart. My new Dr throughly read my case history before spending 45min with me! Don't waste your time with Dr Park, you can do much better!

Best doctor. Over 10 years ago my internal medicine doc said she's the one you want to see and he was right. She's on top of every detail and always warm and caring.

Horrible!
After having great success with other ILBJ locations and doctors for my child, I decided to try them for a second opinion for my healthcare issue. Saw Dr. Park and she is possibly the worst physician I’ve ever seen. At the start, I had hopes. She seemed to have great credentials and would have the knowledge to help. But far from it! She was horribly rude, always running an hour+ late because she overbooks, then tries to rush you out of the office when you have concerns. When she’s in too long over her 15 minute appt time, nurses continue to come in and interrupt to remind her she has other people waiting - well I waited over an hour. I can get more than 5 minutes of her time! She even forgot my name in the middle of our appt and had to check my chart! What an absolute, incompetent physician. Do not waste your time with Chinyoung Park!

Helped me with some medication changes but pushes tests and too frequent follow up visits - every 3 months even when everything is fine. Also seems to suggest medications as the first solutions. On one occasion she told me she's the doctor and she knows best when I was uncomfortable with her suggestions.

I was frustrated with Dr. Park. At my first appointment, she diagnosed me with a condition and did blood work to confirm it. Then Dr. Park told me which medication would be effective. Right after telling me what medication would help me, she said I was overweight and couldn't take the medicine. Also, she kept calling me late at night with no helpful suggestions. She just kept telling me to do one thing and then changed her mind. I highly suggest you do NOT choose her as your doctor.

Been seeing her for a while but going to stop. Fed up with waiting over an hour for my appointment every single time. Makes you come in every 3 months and visit prices keep on increasing even if everything is stable.

Been to multiple doctors and none as thorough as Dr. Park. She spent far more time with me listening and doing the physical and then called me over the weekend with test results. I've seen her for over a year. After changing alot ofmy meds and encouraging me on the physical therapy, I've never felt better. Great doctor!

I've been seeing this doctor for a few months. I initially gave her five stars, but after today's visit. I felt she was rude and unprofessional. You don't tell a patient to their face, we already talked about this issue over and over. If that's the case, why do you keep wanting me to come back. I won't be going back again after today's visit. Too many other Rheumatologist in Chicago near by.

I had a horrible experience with Dr. Park. She was rude and condescending, did not listen to me or believe me when I told her my symptoms. She contradicted everything that my other rheumatologist said and came up with bogus reasons to explain away my symptoms such as your arms are swelling because you work out too much and lift heavy weights. And then she told me that the pain I was experiencing was in my head. Pick a Dr. who will actually listen to you and take your concerns seriously.

Very unprofessional for being a Rheumatologist She assumed just by looking at me and holding up my arm that nothing was going on? She didn't order any tests or x rays. In my opinion you need to do that and a lot more to try to rule out anything To involved and self absorbed in correcting her typing and repeating herself then interacting with the patient Also I waited over 2hours just to be seen for 15mins Will not recommend or go here again. Beware
