Dr. Chintan Parikh, MD

Dr. Parikh is clearly a very thorough, experienced, and professional doctor; that much is clear from a single visit, which is all I've had. However, his support staff is not nearly his equal in these areas, and he's not big on accountability regarding them. When I explained that his staff had given me three different call-back timeframes for x-ray results in the course of a single day ("He'll call at 12:30..." --that comes and goes, and then a couple more hours on top of it--"He'll call within half an hour"--another couple of hours pass--"He'll call you within the next 24 hours" etc.), his sarcastic response was, "What do you want me to do, write you a letter of apology?" Then, after he read the report results aloud and then became silent, I had to prompt him as to next steps... "Well, ok, but what do you suggest I do in terms of the symptoms we discussed in your office?" Didn't ask about my pain level and seemed to have forgotten we'd discussed a specific condition. I'll go elsewhere.
