Dr. Chin-To Fong, MD

If you "only" have hEDS ( hyper mobile Ehlers Danlos Syndrome) do not waste your time here. Dr. Fong was extremely dismissive and condescending, stated there is NO hEDS gene, that it was all in my head. Visit notes show a physical exam and a "no" behind each point. NO ONE even touched my during the visit, ( except for doing my blood pressure) let alone a physical exam. No abdominal pain?? Wow...one of my pain complaints! His nurse asked a lot of questions, but I am hardly a medical expert and do not have all my family history. WHY are they assuming things with no info!? Half the notes are inaccurate. Do yourself a favor and check into Norris Lab in South Carolina. THAT is where you will find the latest research. They believe they have found the gene and there are articles over a year old! You can look into joining their research project. Dr. Fong needs to keep up on the latest research and stop treating people poorly just because he doesn't know!

I had a telehealth visit and felt that it was very thorough. I am currently awaiting the results of a genetic screen for further information, but do have a preliminary answer. The process has been a positive one for me.

I met with Dr. Fong today and had a great experience. My wait time was less than one minute in the waiting room, and less than three minutes in the exam room. The first part of my appointment was screening/health history questions and that was done by someone else. When Dr. Fong came in he explained my diagnosis and spent a lot of time discussing it with me, even going a bit beyond 5pm when they closed. He was thorough, courteous, and kind. I’m honestly surprised by the negative reviews.

Saw him yesterday after scheduling an appointment literally a year ago. Didn't seem to have read any of the background information from our referring doctor or any of the anecdotal information provided. Talked about genetics in general, didn't think we had an issue with what our referring doctor. feels it is, and did not seem to really take any of it seriously. Very disappointed, frustrated, dejected. Similar to every other doctor I have met with associated with Strong. If you don't fit inside the box we can't help you and/or don't believe you. Sure wish there were more options around here.

I met with Dr. Fong a few months ago. We waited for quite a while in the waiting room. It seemed he was more interested in flirting with his female colleagues than helping us. He seemed very knowledgeable, but not that interested in helping us.

He is terrible to handle patience, We visited once and i would never recommend it, He may be knowledgeable and i dont see a courtesy in him
